My neighbors dog and a stray dog were playing by the street. They came but didn't pick up the stay for some reason and so later he was killed when he got hit by a car.
Sometime ago, I had called them about a puppy chained to a tree on a chain that was heavier than he was, that would barely reach his little dog house. And the people would park their truck over him. They did nothing. Poor little guy has grown up like that.

We called at around 11 today to have them pick up these 3 stray dogs that roamed onto my property. We gave our information and address and we waited for their officer to call us back…hours later, no call or update. We call back and the person who answered said there was no case on file and no one will be coming today. So we said we can’t keep them on our property as we have dogs as well. We said what do we do because we can’t hold them any longer. If we could just let them loose again and he rudely said it was illegal for us to do that. But it ain’t our dogs and we can’t keep them! We tried to do the right thing, I guess it’s impossible to do so.

Useless! Been sending videos and photos of my neighbors dogs roaming the streets and chasing after everyone that passes by, children included and animal control has done nothing.

Sat, September 21, 2024: County of Hawaii Employee named "Camille" assisted us with top notch professionalism!! She meeted and greeted us with such natural "Good Vibes"! Proceeded to give us form to fill out. Received the hurt cat that needs assistance, with empathy. She explained important information on would happen with the cat, and said she'd be in correspondence! She's an Angel for all animals ?

Found a tiny stray kitten in obvious distress & called for guidance. Person on the phone was courteous and very helpful. At the intake Susan was so compassionate and patient. She examined tge kitten & took her in for medical assessment & hopefully successful treatment. Mahalo to all the staff. They need support & resources. (Pet owners please, please spay/ neuter so the unwanted baby animals dont suffer.)
