I unfortunately had to put my cat down recently due to her health issues and took it very hard. I got a card in the mail today and everyone on the staff signed a sweet message and it meant a lot. I have brought all three of my pets here and everyone really cares and it shows.

We took our dog here a few times & they were wonderful with him. The last time he was sick & we saw Dr. Harris. She ran ran thorough tests, went over every detail of what she wanted to do & why. Then made sure we were good with the plan before doing any of it. After the results came back she gave me honest answers to make the best choice for him. We were left with having to put him down due to being full of tumors. They allowed us plenty of time to say goodbye & even waited so our daughter could drive from Bloomington to be there too. Shania was the tech & she spent a lot of time with us, being so caring & patient. She helped us through the cremation process. They were all kind, caring, compassionate & went above & beyond in their care of him & us. Prices are reasonable also!

So thrilled with this place. I asked on FB for suggestions on a new local vet for my animals since we just moved far away from our old place . Our animals have only had initial check ups so far but each time we've gone in (we asked for separate appointment days for certain animals) the staff are very friendly, the doctors seem very knowledgeable. One dog and one cat are both very anxious and have had bad experiences with vets in the past, both of them did so well here, the Dr and techs both take their time to earn the animals trust and give them love rather than manhandling them to try and get them out asap which is so important to me to make it as happy an experience as possible for them. Also was given suggestions on possible options for issues they are having that were never presented in over 2 years at other vets we've seen. So far I have no issues and hope to continue going here for a long time!

Would be a five star if they had better communication. I originally went to have my dog check out for vomiting and diarrhea, while there I had the Dr. look at a lump on my dogs back, which at the time was just a solid mass. For that appointment we saw Dr. Lucsh and I was very satisfied with the time she spent with me and made me feel like she cared about my concerns.
A few weeks went by the mass started to bleed, so I scheduled an appointment for the following Monday 6 days out with Dr. Harris and I continued to work with her afterwards. Surgery went good, I was confused why the shaved so much off my dog, he his a healer mix, not usually shaved. However I couldn't change it and I don't know what happens completely during surgery. For the medication I was given 5 days worth pain meds and that was it. Surgery was on a Monday and on Thursday it started to ozz quite a bit so I took him in the have him check out and they told me it was fine and normal, then gave me 6 days antibiotic and 5 more days of pain meds.
The next Friday, today, we had the staples removed and he was scabbed up pretty good, I didn't want to mess with them and pull staples out. They pulled them out and cleaned him up as well as shaved way more fur off of him, not sure 100% why, but there was a little irritation, but they shaved way pass the irritation. Also mentioned he was infected under the scabbed where it had been oozing.
They then told us they want him on more pain meds and gave us 7 days worth and heavier antibiotics for 7 days worth, which is more than right after surgery. I would have expected them to be more aware of what he needs from the beginning, so I didn't need to keep going back and get more.
Overall I feel like they didn't communicate what there were doing and only focused on the pet, but didn't consult with me before making decisions about my pet. Also I hardly talked to the actual vet that worked on my pet, but the techs that had to keep going back to ask my questions.

Very friendly staff. Very clean inside and out. I have an anxious dog that tends to want to bite when getting shots. They offered to randomly bring her in for "happy" visits where she just interacts without any bad experiences (shots). I have never had a vet that offered anything like that. GREAT PEOPLE!

I love Heal Pet Care & so does Henri!!! Last week I called because I needed Henri’s pet records because we were going out of town unexpectedly!!! They printed them out for me within minutes & I was so deeply appreciative. This is down home care!!!

big thanks to Heal Pet Care for taking care of Cash today! they where buys bees with a full parking lot and where so helpful to me. they know cash is my daily savior! He's my medical service dog and would volunteers himself to help and would do so with his life if it was necessary. knowing this they where quick to help and fit him in in-between there busy day of appointments. he was injured from playing with some dogs at the dog park on his day off last night right after they closed so I was left with no choice but to wait for I cannot make the trip to indy. after leaving a detailed message I awoke to a phone call made before there actual open time to make sure we where taken care of and given instruction as to what we should do and our options for his checkup and medicine. we send lots of doggie bone love to them thanks! from cash & james
