Heron's Crossing came out yesterday to help my senior kitty, Dublin, transition to his next stage. They were able to come out same day as Dublin had taken a sudden turn for the worse and we were not sure he would make it through the night. Lauren (Laura) was so incredibly kind and patient on the phone. Dr. Jo came out to the house and I couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and loving end to Dublin's 17 years on this planet. Dr. Jo is an absolute angel and gift to this world. Thank you so so much for crossing him over with dignity, honor, and love.

For the difficulty of the experience of having to end the life of your family pet, this was such a comforting, supportive, and caring facility and vet to work with. Scheduling was easy and straightforward, we were blessed enough to not have to rush the process with our Lucas, and after enjoying and pampering him for one final week to the best of our ability, Dr. Ashley, the veterinarian, was our angle helping to escort Lucas to his pain and handicap free next adventure! She was communicative, timely, comforting, and excellent at talking and guiding us all through the process. From meeting her, I can tell her entire focus is the comfort of her clients and she clearly was "reading" and responding well and individualized to the unique situation I am sure the job presents each time. I would have no hesitation returning in the future to Ashley if the situation necessitated it. They even provided included resources for after-support if necessary/desired.

We wanted to share our thanks and experience with Dr. Jo. We wanted to say thank you for your help with our beloved Izzy dog. I imagined that it would be hard, but the reality was so much tougher. Dr. Jo was such a blessing and a calming presence to me and my husband. Though we had just met her, Dr Jo really felt like a part of Izzy’s family and we couldn’t have done this without her. Dr. Lauren Cassady was patient, compassionate, and tender with the passing of our sweet girl. Thank you! These simple words feel inadequate to express our profound gratitude in helping our household feel at peace with our decision to allow our pup to pass into the beyond with grace in the same way she lived in life. Dr. Lauren stepped through our doorway and into our lives at a difficult time as we had been watching our sweet dog suffer for several weeks following a series of stokes and our household was experiencing the complex emotions of grief. She sat with us on the floor as we witnessed the awe, wonder, and curiosity not only unique in birth but also in death and I now feel like Heron's Crossing is part of our family.

I found myself unexpectedly needing this service over the weekend for my 9 year old dog. Colleen was so sweet and helpful while scheduling. She went above and beyond to express her sympathies and condolences. The communication from the scheduling phone call to the very end of the appointment was truly amazing. Dr. Jo arrived at our scheduled time and showed us so much kindness. She let us take our time saying goodbye as we were still in shock that this was happening. She explained exactly what to expect before moving forward. She was not only incredibly patient but also gentle and loving to my boy in his last moments. I can’t thank Heron’s Crossing, Colleen, and Dr. Jo enough. I will always be grateful for their kindness and compassion during one of the hardest days I’ve ever faced. Thank you so much.

Dr. Krista was an amazing addition to our very sad, sad day when we said goodbye to our beloved Aladdin, our companion for over 11 years. She was comforting, patient, kind and so warm and loving, even though she had just met Aladdin for the first time. This day was a hard day, and although the thought of never seeing Aladdin play, go for walks, and do all the funny things he used to do, will not be a part of our family anymore, Dr. Krista left us with the feeling of peace and that Aladdin would be well taken care of even to the very end.
