waited in the waiting room for over 40 minutes without being seen. it was a simple exam. no shots or tests. horrible customer service. The vet said "it is what it is". Great to know, I don't recommend high country vet, why do I need to be here on time if you're not going to be. you didn't even have the courtesy to come out and talk to your customer. there are so many options out here for you guys to be acting like this.

I've never had such a great experience with a vet. The team at High Country Vet genuinely cares about animals and is incredibly responsive. Over the years, I've faced various issues with my pets, including cats, dogs, and even a frog. Dr. Moses and her staff have consistently gone above and beyond in their care. She has saved the lives of two of my dogs and one of my cats so far. One of my dogs was bitten by a rattlesnake and required numerous surgeries, and Dr. Moses never gave up on him. Her dedication and persistence are truly remarkable.

Dr. Moses and her staff are exceptional people, combining great attitudes with high levels of skill and expertise. They always take the time to explain everything thoroughly, ensuring that both pets and their owners feel comfortable and well-informed. There is no way I would let anyone else treat any of my animals besides High Country Vet. Their commitment to providing top-notch care is evident in everything they do. Thank you for your awesome work and dedication over the past few years. Your efforts are truly appreciated, and I am grateful to have found such a wonderful veterinary practice.

This is the only vet in town I trust, my family has been coming here for years. We had to go to an ER vet who told us our dog had to have her leg amputated but we came here for a second opinion. It turns out my dog just pulled a muscle, and knowing that the ER vet had no idea what they were talking about, I trust no one else with our dogs. This office is professional, friendly, but most importantly, knowledgeable and caring. Don't go any where else.

For a place that "cares" seems to me they only care about money. I made a wellness check appointment for my guineas - nothing big, just a simple wellness check, because I had to pay for one before I could do anything else and i paid $240 deposit and the appointment was for Monday - my car started acting up Friday night so I called Saturday to reschedule (WAY ahead of any 24hr policy) and they were closed, called again SUNDAY - closed again, so I called the morning of and they told me I had to pay another $240 deposit to reschedule and my deposit was non transferrable or refundable because I needed to tell them 24 hrs ahead, so they were keeping my $240 and needed another $240. Umm so it's my fault you are closed two days I called and didn't answer until the day of. So, they want me to come out of pocket $500 for a darn check up!!!!! We are all struggling and I'm trying to do right by animals and these people just want to take more money from me. Unbelievable. Its bad enough I was required to do a wellness appointment and pay for that before I could schedule and pay for the actual thing I wanted!!! Just a money pit. Disgusting.

My cat was having urinary issues, scooting her butt, excessive licking, and peeing on our clothing. I had an appointment set for 9am, I dropped her off and they told me it’ll take 1-3 hours to get a urine sample and they’ll call me.
4 and 1/2 hours later I called to see how it was going and I was told my cat was just now about to get serviced and that she’s been awaiting the doctor to get done with spay surgeries first the past 4-5 hours. I said okay, after about 7 hours total passed I still have not received any update so I drove to the vet and asked to check on my cat. They took me to the back telling me they were done, weird I didn’t receive a phone call and I had to show up myself get informed;
they proceeded to tell me they couldn’t obtain a sterile UA sample because my cat was consistently peeing on herself while back there. My cat has never done that at the vet, and I assume she did because she was left to sit for over 7 hours straight. They lied to me about the amount of time it would take, and they’ll accept your pet and leave them sitting the whole day untreated to make money around their spay and neuter surgeries. We previously got her spayed here and that went well, I wouldn’t suggest bringing your pet here for anything other than a spay/neuter surgery since they prioritize those over any other pets needs. My cat was neglected and the treatment was unacceptable.
