Brought my Oliver in for a follow up from urgent vet. The staff was very friendly and attentive as always. I appreciated the fact that I wasn’t charged for a service I didn’t need. Dr. Marsh took the time to explain what I was there for. Told me everything was healing well and they are there if I need them. I had gone there expecting he would need to have his anal glands expressed and was told he did not! She explained what he experienced might be a one time what to look out for etc. The staff fussed all over him which he totally ate up. My boxer loves attention and they gave him
Plenty of that. So glad I decided to go back there. It’s nearly 45 minutes from home but the best veterinary office I have found in Lakeland!!!

I can't say enough about Doctor Thomas. He got us through one of the hardest times we will ever face and his staff went above and beyond. He is not just a great veterinarian. He is an exceptional human and his kindness and compassion is unmatched. They hand wrote us a card when we lost our cat. We are going to be taking our dog to them as a family vet for the rest of his life.

I brought my dog Dany here after a diagnosis of IMHA and emergency transfusion at VHA. They have accommodated her with her anxiety and have been very helpful, informative, and communitive along the way. Due to our frequent visits they've become part of our community. I'm very grateful for their help saving my best friend, and the investment they have in Dany's fight against IMHA. I will always recommend them.

Yesterday was a very difficult day. I was saying goodbye to my sweet dog and best friend Riley, who was almost 15 years old. They were wonderful, caring and made this difficult time as smooth as possible. A private room where I could spend as much time as I wanted and an exit, so I could leave without going through the lobby. I am grateful and highly recommend Highland Square Family Vet.

I recently moved and haven't had to look for a closer vet, yet. When my dog got an ear infection and I needed an appointment quick, this vet had the soonest appointment and I could even book it completely online.
Dr. Bell was very thorough at the appointment. He did a test to determine exactly what caused my dog's ear infection and gave the right antibiotics and ointment. He answered my questions and took the time to explain how to apply the ointment and take care of my dog. I appreciated his patience and the staff's kind touch, as well. They loved on my dog and make me feel more at ease with the whole process. I will be seeing this vet again.
The attached photo is from a few days after. My dog is feeling much better.

Dr. Thomas and his staff are friendly, down to earth and great to work with. My dog Marley is 15 and sadly at the end of his life, and they are helping with the right treatments to keep him comfortable without going overboard, and I’m so thankful for that. He’s feeling pretty good right now, and I’m just trying to keep the old guy as happy and comfortable as possible. I plan to bring the rest of my dogs to this clinic as well. Thanks again!
