I highly recommend Hilltop Pet Clinic. They are the best veterinarian in town. Dr. Crook and his team are amazing!
They really care about your fur baby's. Everyone of the staff here has been friendly, caring, compassionate and empathic.
Anytime I needed to get my baby boy seen they'd do what they could to get him seen asap. Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to my sweet boy today. They were very understanding and discussed his quality of life with us, gave us as much time as we needed, even cried with us during the process and hugged me afterwards!!! They gave me the name and address for where my fur baby would be getting cremated as well as text me a link with an urn that I can purchase online!

To Dr. Crook And His Team: Thank you for always being so wonderful to us!!! I know my baby got to live a longer life because of you!!! <3 To My Dear Fur Child- Mommy loves you immensely sweetheart!!! It's already so hard without you here!!!, I will never stop thinking of you and missing you!!! Your paw prints will forever be imprinted on this broken heart!!! ❣?

I switched to Hilltop after not having the best experience with another vet. Hilltop was recommended to me by other family members. And they were so right! Hilltop is an amazing vet! Dr. Crook is so sweet and knowledgeable and his staff are the sweetest. They are great about reminding me about appointments and getting her in. We just had a surgery done by Dr. Crook and Dr. Schmurr and both of them have been wonderful about recovery and answering all my questions. My dog Nugget loves this vet and so do I 🙂 They sometimes run late but they prioritize emergencies so I don't mind waiting. Being in the vet industry is hard work and some times thankless but I hope they know how much Nugget and I appreciate the work they all do.

Update 5/18/21... downgraded to one star. Showed up 15 minutes late for my appointment because roads were closed and flooding in town and I had to find a way out of my neighborhood. Waited AGAIN 3 weeks for this appointment. Was told they wouldn't see me and would have to reschedule to the next available in July. Being late is totally my responsibility and I should have given it more time, but this office has no compassion. Staff at the reception area are regularly rude to myself and others. They STILL aren't allowing owners to accompy their pets even with proof of full vaccination (of the mask wearing owner) so you really don't even know what is going on with your dog once inside (like in the case of my dogs last appointment when I thought she would be vaccinated and WASN'T so she is now almost a year without a rabies vaccine!!)

Do not start bringing your pets here this place needs to be shut down for the health and safety of local animals. Staff are terrible. Vet didn't address our problems just pushed expensive medications and $1500 teeth cleanings UNDER ANESTHESIA (ON A 17 YR OLD DOG!)

I was there for the appointment and they refused to see my dog so I requested all my pets records to change vets and was treated like dirt upon the request. I sat and waited for my records while 4 other dogs went in and out without a problem. Took them 3x longer to pull the records then it would have to just vaccinate the dog! Then they left out all the most recent records and I had to go back in and demand they actually give me ALL the records so I could change vets. This place is aweful!

Dog was dizzy and falling down the stairs and turning in circles. Tried to get an emergency appointment. Out me off for 2 weeks. Finally I called to have her euthanized because her quality of life was so bad (she is 16 Human years old!) Brought her in only to find out she simply needed a round of steroids they wouldn't prescribe me over the phone 2 weeks ago in the middle of a pandemic to treat my dog and keep her from breaking a hip!!! I waited two weeks mourning that I was going to have to out my dog down and all she needed were + steroid pills!!!? Meanwhile she was overdue for her vaccinations and I wrongly assumed they would take car of that at the appointment. But they didn't and I wasn't informed. Didn't find out she wasn't up to date until the groomer told me. I called to get the record of vaccination and they didn't have one...I requested an appointment and they said the earliest I could get her in was 3 weeks out!! In addition to being ridiculously rude over the phone and unnecessarily. I think I will give them one last shot.

We’ve been patients for 2 years. We had to say goodbye to our first dog. The kindness and compassion was incomparable. Sometimes they run a bit behind but they’re worth the wait. We recently adopted a puppy mill rescue and the doctor we saw listened to my concerns and gave me some very helpful advice about dealing with her lack of boundaries on personal space. I ❤️ this clinic and the staff.
