The absolute best veterinary practice in my experience. Since I discovered Horizon Animal Hospital 4 years ago, I never hesitate to drive an hour each way because of how well we are treated here. Several times we have been squeezed in due to last minute issues and every time it’s been a wonderful experience. I never feel like a burden when I call. No matter who answers the phone, they are always kind and ready to answer any question or address any concerns. Making appointments is easy and we are never kept waiting long when we are there for an appointment.

We normally see Dr Patterson who is a total saint and so incredibly kind and patient. Most recently she performed a c-section on my dog that was expecting a singleton puppy. Dr. Patterson (and the techs) did an amazing job and the incision was almost completely healed not even a week later. I have another young dog that has had a multitude of issues and she’s been beyond helpful in getting him the proper care. We’ve seen Dr. Penn and Dr. Emily on occasion and they have also been amazing. We love all of the techs as well. Everyone here is amazing!

The prices are reasonable and I have never felt pressured to have anything done that’s not completely necessary. Keep up the amazing work, Horizon Animal Hospital!

The doctors and staff at Horizon have always been very kind and helpful with every visit. They took great care of my pup for his dental cleaning and made sure to inform me of his progress as soon as he was waking up from the anesthesia. They also called and checked in on how he was doing at home the next day, and gave good advice for preventative care, which I really appreciate. Highly recommend this vet office!

I highly recommend this animal hospital, Dr. Penn has taken care of several of my dogs. All of my dogs came in tails wagging, Dr. Penn made it stress-free and comfortable for every single one of my fur babies. The quality of the services they have provided for my dogs is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time.
I am always completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. The clinic itself has a very inviting and comfortable ambiance. Their staff is not only very caring and friendly but also highly skilled. I have nothing but great things to say about this place!!

I’ve been bringing my dog Bella to Karen for grooming for years. This was my first time adopting a rescue and was referred to Karen for her expertise and meticulous attention to detail. While other groomers might rush through the process, Karen takes her time with handling and her styling is exceptional! Bella always comes out looking stunning and happy most importantly. If you are looking for a groomer with a personalized approach, genuine care and deep understanding of different breeds needs, Karen is the best!

We had an emergency with our new rescue puppy Dakota. We live in Strawberry, Arizona. Our three month old puppy ingested what we feared was mouse poison. We called poison control, and the outlook was not good. We drove 75 miles to Horizon Amimal Hospital. Jennifer met us at the door and ushered us in even though they were booked solid, they made room for us. Our puppy received excellent care in our time of need! When we were desperate for help they stepped up and did everything they could to help us. They treated Dakota as if she were their own puppy. Dr. Emily was wonderful and all the staff was amazing! We were so happy with the outcome we decided to make them our permanent veterinarian. We will gladly drive the extra distance to have such excellent care for our puppy. Five stars is not enough for the wonderful service we received! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Dakota is doing wonderfully thanks to you.
