The office secretaries are very kind! The veterinarian Dr. Baker on the otherhand was not. She denied my dog's medication even though I sent her the scripts from previous vets, she pushed her "raw food diet" on us, and she stated that she's done a lot of research on YouTube that informed her about animals' diets more than vet school. She also stated that dogs were carnivores which is not true. I would recommended requesting a different doctor if you choose this vet.

We recently moved to the area and needed a new provider for our dog. We took her to an initial appointment to establish care. A few weeks later we noticed a lump on her back and made another appointment. They were unsure what it was and gave us some prescription medication. We were told to send an email in a week to provide an update and discuss next steps. We gave the medication but the lump has gotten worse We reached out 3 different times both through email and phone. It has been 5 days with no response other than our message will be passed along. We are really disappointed with our experience and concerned our dog hasn’t yet been able to get follow up care. We’ve made the decision to make the hr long commute and continue seeing our previous provider.

I would never walk into this clinic ever again and I would NOT recommend this place not even to my worst enemies!!
I was here less than a month ago for my cats annual check up and he seemed off and threw up regularly recently!
The Dr said he was perfectly healthy and he encouraged vax as he was due for it. My 3 years old cat passed away yesterday!!!!!

Dr. Baker, Dr. Williams, and supporting staff are wonderful. Most importantly, our cats like them and have aged well! 19 years and counting. ?

This veterinary clinic is very poor at adhering to guidelines regarding essential medications for pets! My dog has a critical heart condition and they are Nonresponsive to the pharmacy with respect to medication refills unless I repeatedly call this is unacceptable

Had to wait twenty minutes past appointment time, but the tech who eventually arrived was very friendly and gentle with my anxious pet, and she helped ensure that he was vaccinated and examined as smoothly as possible. Receptionists were also warm and professional. The only reason why I'm leaving three stars for this visit was that it was quite expensive, and Dr. Baker seemed to be having a bad day. Among other things, she didn't explain that the stool test would be invalidated if I didn't return the sample within 14 days of the appointment, and if I hadn't checked this with the receptionist myself, I would have had to forfeit $65 simply because I'm going away on holiday. But otherwise, Dr. Baker promptly sent along quotes for further services, and I received an invoice and medical record by email within minutes of leaving the clinic. Their new place in the Whole Foods building complex seems to be newly renovated and is very pleasant.

Always a great experience when I am here. I enjoy the friendly staff and informative services. My dog is not terrified or anxious to come here because the staff--from tech to veterinarian--were sweet and loving to him. I also learned a lot and was given clear steps to improve my dog's overall health and wellness. I've been to the animal hospital and the clinic locations and recieved the same exemplary service at both. This is all around a great animal clinic/hospital--I would definitely recommend.

UPDATE
I wanted to update. They charge you additional costs like a fee for their license as a veterinary hospital! Also their prices are way too high for their poor quality service.

There are several comments to make about this place, but overall, I definitely DO NOT recommend anyone to take their pets here. I had a disappointing experience regarding several points:

1) Administrative process / front desk: I had to ask several times for my invoice. In the end I had to go there and ask for it. I thought about taking my pet for further services with them, so I requested a quote for future services. It was really hard to get a quote for their services and I had to go several times to request it. It is like they do not have a system or standardized prices for the services they recommend.
When we got to the appointment, we were a bit earlier. The front desk person behaved as us being a bit earlier was a hassle. Still, we had to wait 30 min after our appointment start time for the vet to come over to us.
2) Vet care: I do NOT recommend it for nervous dogs, definitely they do not have training for connecting with your dog and are just worried about getting things done without thinking about dog comfort/experience. My dog is a rescued dog so it was important for me for it to be okay because it is still learning to trust people back after difficult times.
I felt rushed during my appointment without adequate explanations for the treatments suggested or the options available. I had to request explanations for everything because they assumed that I knew what all the treatments were about or the names of the medicines, even though I let them know this was our first ever vet appointment.
The wellness check gave me a diagnostic that had a too extreme treatment (but super expensive). And the exam was not thorough but rushed, I had to request the vet to check up some body parts (hips) when it should be the standard of care for the breed.
3) Physical condition of the clinic: The rooms look old and are super small. We were waiting in an examination room with only one chair for 2 people. It was uncomfortable for me and my pet.
4) Regarding pricing, I was shocked by the costs. Prices are significantly higher than other clinics in Chicago (Loop clinics) and definitely the quality of care is not up to the standards.

Finally, the whole experience feel more exploitative than therapeutic. Definitely do not recommend.
