I am very pleased and pleasantly surprised by the cost of my dog’s appointment and procedure. I was sure it was going to be expensive but it was not nearly as bad as I expected. Staff is all wonderful and Dr Klein and her techs are amazing and cared for my dog so well. I feel like everything was explained to me so I could understand what was going on with him and what the next steps were. Thank you all so much for the care and compassion you showed us.

We recently had to take our cat, Pete to Indy vet. Our veterinarian who we normally see and pay A WHOLE LOT of money to, would not see Pete. They have major scheduling issues and are just very unreliable. IndyVet is amazing. They care for your pet and YOU as soon as you get there. Yes it is a charge just to be seen, yes it can be a long visit, but we've never left there, wondering if we been given the right information, if we been over charged, or under served. They will access your pet to the best of their medical ability and give you options for the pets care. While we were waiting the front desk staff checked on us multiple times and pointed out that coffee and water was available up near the front desk. They also have clean restrooms. I just have zero complaints about IndyVet. It is expensive to own a pet, period. If you have an emergency and hopefully you never will but if you do, call ahead and get your pets name in or just go right if, if there's no time. They are just wonderful. Something new they offer is a sound machine in the exam room. So whether it's to calm us or the pet or both, I don't know, but what another nice amenity.

I wish I could give them zero. They will politely look at you and speak to you while having no intention of helping your animal unless you have a ridiculous amount of money right now. They sent me home with my cat that has a urinary blockage after charging me my last 168 dollars just to look at him and tell me he’s dying. And oh yeah they won’t help him at all without 2500 dollars right now. So yeah needless to say Im unsatisfied. If your wealthy go to them, they’ll probably even be nice to you. If you just care about your animal and don’t have 5 thousand dollars lying around. I’d seek treatment elsewhere because they do not care about you or your animal.

Always a very nice experience here. We get the best personal care that I could hope for my fur baby. We see the vet ophthalmologist, Dr Klein. She and her staff are A+! And the front desk staff are great too!

It was a scary situation and they made me feel calm and confident that they would do everything to help my cat. Communication was amazing. Every staff member was kind, caring and compassionate. And everything, including possible costs, was explained thoroughly. They never rushed when explaining what was going on. If you have an emergency for your pet, I highly recommend them.

IndyVet saw my cat when she was throwing up blood and had blood in her urine. She was promptly checked into a room so that I could let her out of carrier, which stresses her. The front desk staff were kind and helpful, as were the vet techs and veterinarian. The whole process took about 5 hours, which is why I have removed one star. I understand it is hard to keep places like this staffed well enough, but I hope for others to be seen more quickly than I was. On the phone they inform you that they do “triage,” meaning that more serious cases are seen first. I was very worried for my baby girl of course. Also, the $168 fee just to be seen is a bit jarring, but I am thankful for the care and that my girl is feeling better. I would recommend them to anyone with an emergency with their pet, as Bloomington where I am from does not have an emergency clinic. Worth the one hour drive.

Yes it cost more than your family vet will, but they have resources that are needed at times. My cat continued to get urinary blockages and we rushed there 3 times. They were able to help him immediately each time and recognized it as a true emergency. The third time they recommended surgery and provided a way that I could turn that into a payment plan through care credit. When my boy had to stay over night, for multiple nights, I was allowed to come visit. I avoided visiting during their busier times and never had an issue getting a chance to go back and see him. I am hoping I never HAVE to go back, but in the even if an emergency, I will go to them every time that it is something my regular vet is unable to take on(weekend emergencies and overnight monitoring). It has been many months(maybe even close to a year) since Peter’s surgery and he hasn’t had an issue since. So happy to have many more years with my petey!

I knew something was wrong. I thought it was life threatening. I honestly thought it was life threatening for weeks. I had good reason but I was wrong about it. I photographed the changes. But I'm happy beyond words that my guy is staying with me.

Long story short, I come to see you, I hear you in the other room talk about how he looks like he's been in a barn, like he doesn't have a bed. You talked about him not even wearing his tags. You talked so I could hear you. Then you came to me and said he's overweight, has skin issues and you can't tell from the photo what happened though that wasn't true. You then said you're not comfortable with euthanasia. "That makes one of us" comfortable with not euthanizing him. Two of you were standing there. Three of us were in the room. I'm in shock!

I had his tags for at home for memorial. Why bring them? Chamomile and lavender on the carpet because he kept hissing and being unpredictable. He lives in a beautiful home where he is loved, not a barn like you said.

He's often photographed. He's microchiped. He doesn't go outside. He's my art studio cat. He's such a character. 🙂

I . Am. Broke. But I have not forgotten to love both humans and animals. Be kind to your kind, too. Don't forget that!

Your secretary shouldn't handle my change. She's not honest enough. She plays airhead. She's not.
