My boy Darby was diagnosed last November with severe IBD and PLE. Although this disease is not curable, Darby is now considered stable, and his disease is manageable. Dr Ginman and his staff have been so supportive and understanding. Appointments are easy to get, and they are always on time.

Our 1 year old American Bully was diagnosed with cancer about 6 months ago. Dr. Ginman has been incredible. Our sweet boy just finished his 4th round of chemo and his tumor that was the size of a softball is virtually undetectable. He was proactive in the diagnosis, upfront in the prognosis and realistic that the outlook was not good but treatment is working so far. Great doctor and we love the staff. Thank you for saving (at least prolonging) our boys life!

Dr. Ginman is an outstanding veterinary internist! When our 10 yr old cat Kiiro seemed to not quite feel like himself, with vague symptoms, Dr. Ginman quickly and efficiently figured out, via review of our local vet’s blood tests and doing an ultrasound on the spot (amazing!), that he had intestinal lymphoma. Dr. Ginman explained in detail his condition and what the treatment options were, and worked closely with the WSU vet school to pursue some even more specialized treatment. Unfortunately, Kiiro had an advanced case by the time we even realized he was sick, so he deteriorated rapidly. Dr. Ginman attended to Kiiro at the time of his death (on a Sunday!), and was very sensitive and comforting.
Since then, Dr. Ginman has helped us manage another cat’s urinary retention and seizures, and augmented our local vet’s management of our dog’s inflammatory bowel disease.
The other nice feature at his facility is that he is co-located with a pet emergency clinic, and so when we have had emergent situations with an animal such as when our cat had his first seizure, I drove far out of my way, past the Spokane pet emergency clinic, knowing the collaboration that his clinic and the emergency clinic have. I was pleased with the emergency care and left our cat there so that Dr. Ginman could evaluate him the next morning, and he completely corroborated what the emergency vet had said. He also explained in depth the condition, and what future steps in evaluation and treatment would be if the seizures continue to occur. We have a local vet nearby our home, but she also respects Dr. Ginman, so any time any of our animals needs specialty care, I will always choose to drive the distance to have them see Dr. Ginman!

We took my extremely sick dog here after a disappointing and incorrect diagnosis at another vet in Spokane.

The staff was amazing. They were very accommodating and even though the outcome led to us putting our dog down, I was very thankful for the experience. They even waived the euthanasia fee for us.

I wish we had gone here first. I will always go here for an emergency moving forward and you should too.

Thank you to the staff for treating my dog and family so well.

These ladies were a life saver! My pups heart medication ran out over the holiday weekend and they were able to see me and do a courtesy screening so they only charged me for the meds!! Everywhere else was waaaay more expensive and not as good customer service. Thanks so so much to this sweet kind staff and the lovely veterinarian with the Betsy Jonson scrubs! Yall saved the day!

Dr. Ginman is a fantastic vet! He is kind, compassionate and skilled. He was able to quickly and correctly diagnose and treat our dogs condition. I completely trust him with my dog’s care! So glad we found him after having a very bad experience with a different local vet.

Dr Ginman and his office staff are AMAZING! The clinic is always clean, warm, and inviting, with a large lobby so animals aren’t forced to be close together. The staff are always friendly, smiling and helpful. Dr Ginman is a quiet, calm, compassionate, and thoughtful doctor who cares a great deal about the pets/family members in his care. He provides excellent medical advice, while trying to keep costs to the families at a minimum, and provides compassionate care for all those in his charge. Anyone who brings their loved one to his office will be so fortunate to have him care for them. I know firsthand that, while he doesn’t technically hold weekend business hours, he often personally takes care of the animals who are kept in the clinic overnight and on weekends, cutting into his own family time - he’s THAT committed to his patients and their families!
Another nice feature of his clinic is, after he closes regular business hours, there is a pet ER that takes over after hours and on weekends. While they are separate from Dr Ginman, they all work together nicely, and I have had wonderful experience with them as well - certainly more so than the Pet ER in Spokane, where money is always their bottom line.
Again, I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Ginman and his clinic. He took care of my aging pet, and when it came time to help ease him on his way over the rainbow bridge, it was done with live and compassion. He now works with our newest family member and I have the comfort of knowing she is in, not only excellent medical hands, but dedicated, thoughtful, and kind ones as well. You’d be lucky to have him as your family’s vet!!!

Dr. Ginman is a very kind, quiet, and compassionate vet, as well as, highly credentialed in Internal Medicine. His office is in the same building as the Post Falls Emergency Pet Clinic, but his is a daytime practice.

We were very pleased with Dr. Ginman’s diagnosis and care of our extremely sick dog, Lizzie. We took our dog from Spokane to Post Falls especially to see Dr. Ginman on the recommendation of a family member who told us Dr. Ginman is brilliant. I believe it!

Dr. Ginman correctly diagnosed our dog’s disease as Cushing’s syndrome. It’s a complicated disease, and not a nice one! Since it involved the pituitary gland in the brain, the only alternative was periodic lab testing and daily meds which must be properly monitored. In humans, brain surgery is an option, but not for pets. (I was a Registered Dietitian, so I’m very familiar with the disease in humans).

Dr. Ginman took such great care of our Lizzie, and she lived another very comfortable 5 - 6 years. In fact, she was like a new dog once put on the proper meds. She was 15 years old when she died which is a good long life for a beagle.

We found Dr. Ginman to be very compassionate to both our pet and to us. He even drove to our house in Spokane to deliver her special meds at a time I couldn’t drive myself. His kind heart and excellent care meant so much to our family. Thank you, Dr. Ginman!
