We were referred to Dr. Haburjak at Ironhorse from our primary vet Ohana after our 8-month puppy (Max) fell off the bed and broke his front leg. They were able to get us in right away for surgery. The whole staff was very welcoming and Dr. Haburjak explained everything to us. From the time he went into the time he was out of surgery the whole team kept us updated and were so sweet. Unfortunately, Max's body rejected the plate from his surgery, so we had to remove the plate, and they put a bone graph in its place. Max was a trooper though both surgeries and the staff at Ironhorse loved him and took excellent care of him throughout everything. For every cast change they made sure he had a new design on his cast, and it was so cute. Every time we walked into the door, the receptionist all knew Max and he got so excited to see them. For every appointment they got us in and out and made sure to explain his progress and how the healing was going and answer any questions we had. We are so happy with Max's progress, and he is recovering good and, on his way, to running again thanks to Ironhorse. From all the receptionist, surgery team, staff and Dr. Perez and Dr. Haburjak we couldn't be happier and appreciate everything they did and how welcoming they are. Thank you!

Unfortunately had to bring my 3 month old pup to the emergency pet hospital on Thanksgiving evening, but I’m so happy we chose to go to IronHorse Vetcare.

The front desk staff, nurses, and doctors were so loving and caring with my puppy. We spent a few hours there, which isn’t really the place you want to spend Thanksgiving in, however, they made us and our puppy feel comfortable. We got to go home feeling confident that our puppy was safe and treated.

The doctor was up front with all the possibilities with our dog. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. My dog is doing well after her surgery. I’m very thankful. She had a mass removed from her anal gland

They were the best place for Koda. They were understanding and helpful though out her whole cancer journey up until the end they were amazing always making us first priority. Koda was fearful dog but she loved the staff here and always cooperated with them better than any other er vet we went to. I am from oakland but the drives up here were worth it to make sure koda felt comfortable and safe. Not to mention their prices are very reasonable.

We brought our very ill 13 year old dog into Iron Horse and we really didn't think she was going to make it. Dr. Thompson met with us and was very empathetic and a matter of fact, letting us know that our girl may not make it, no promises but only that they would do all that they could. They took her in for 2 days, ran tests to make sure they could proceed with some of the care needed, they put her on fluids, anti nausea medication. I went to bring in her insulin the following day and the MA allowed me to sit with my girl. We are so grateful that the staff at Iron Horse was able to get our dog comfortable and in stable condition. They followed up on her care and again we really appreciated the staffs professionalism, urgent care with a kindness through all of this. It's been 3 weeks and my girl is happy and thriving as best as any healthy diabetic elder could be. I highly recommend Iron Horse for emergency care. She may not be with us much longer, but even a few months with her is a gift. Thank you Iron Horse Staff.
