Started coming here in June after 15 years at Trinity Pet Hospital. The owner sold so I was looking for an alternative closer to home. Pet Assure listed this place so I’m giving them a try. Customer service, accessible hours, and closer to home are pros. Discovered my dog bleeding near his hind leg after a cyto point injection in September. Mistakes happen didn’t think anything of it. Just left after another appointment for cyto point injection, this time they charged me for a visit even though I didn’t request one. I did have a few questions I needed answers to this time but at no point did the front desk communicate these questions would require a visit charge. They should tighten up communication for procedures/processes so that customers aren’t blindsided with fees. Awaiting a call on Monday from Sydney, Hospital Manager, to rectify the situation. This is not what I would expect from a hospital that’s been in business for awhile now. Nice place but I advise everyone to ask questions up front to avoid what I experienced today.

STAY AWAY. We used to love coming here with our previous dog. Unfortunately, some of the vets have changed recently. We had several unpleasant experiences with Dr. Katia Martinho, who is extremely rude and impatient. She is short-tempered, not willing to answer questions, and declared that she will not treat our (lovely and friendly) puppy, unless our pup comes "heavily medicated" with sedatives. It's sad that what used to be a wonderful place to come to has now left such a horrific mark on us. We would not be returning.

Irvine Pet Complex has been so helpful with my pups. They have conducted both my dog's neuter surgeries and both have been successful. I am always impressed by their professionalism and respectfulness. The quality of care from the receptionists to the techs to the vets is very high!

We brought our 10 year old rescue adoptee in for teeth issues. The IPC team was awesome. She got antibiotics and were on a path to help her longer term.

The staff was so professional and empathetic. We’re changing vets because of this experience. We thought this was a visit for dental only but realized this is who we trust with our fur kid.

I recently had to euthanize my soul dog here at Irvine Pet Hospital. It was a devastating loss, but the doctors and staff here were so kind and compassionate throughout the entire process. I have been coming here for a few years now and was never compelled to write a review, but this experience has driven me to do so. My dog was seemingly healthy and in great condition for her age, but sadly she had some form of cancer brewing inside and we had no clue because there were no obvious signs or symptoms. She suddenly started declining so I brought her in and received the devastating news that not only did she have cancer, but it had spread throughout her body and lungs and there was nothing we could do at that point. A few days later I made the difficult decision to euthanize because she was deteriorating at a very rapid pace and it was simply unfair and cruel to let her continue to suffer. The day of our euthanasia appointment, the staff was so kind and compassionate. They allowed me to bring my dog’s bed and blanket so she would be comfortable in her final moments. They were respectful and allowed me to take as much time as I needed with her without rushing me one bit during each step of the process. The room itself was set up thoughtfully and respectfully. In contrast, I’ve heard other people’s experiences that have not been as compassionate and caring, and for that I am extremely grateful. While I am still devastated because of this huge loss, I left the clinic feeling a little bit at peace knowing they helped her pass as peacefully and respectfully as possible. While I would never wish for anyone to have to go through this with their own beloved pet, I realize it is a reality of life and hope you have as peaceful of an experience as I did with the amazing staff at this clinic. I look forward to continuing our journey with my other dog.

We brought in our Goldendoodle yesterday because he had a testicular torsion, and our regular vet didn't have any openings, and I'm so glad we accidentally called here instead of the other place we were suggested to go. Luckily, they had an opening here, and we are so glad it worked out that way, because it was less than 4 hours from the time he was brought in to being home. They were very swift and efficient when my Mom came in, and from the whole Cefalú family, thank you!!! The actual doctor called this morning (the morning after) to check up on him, and I've never seen another vet's office do that the next day, let alone the very same surgeon. Seeing the way they handled a pretty high-pressure, uncomfortable situation for our pup, we will be recommending this place to everyone we know with fur babies.

Kaylin is a great tech. She was so friendly , she even put cream on my cat and cut her nails. Vaccines and a consultation , all for 134$

We love the team here! Dr. Maki and the staff are always so great. We’ve had some health scares with our cat over the last couple years, and they have always been kind, communicative and honest about our care options. We’ve also trusted them with boarding multiple times.
