DO NOT GO HERE!! I went to the ER on January 8th 2025 it was the weirdest experience. I had one nurse that was really concerned. When I was talking to the doctor/nurse practitioner she acted like I was going to be fine well I was telling her that I thought I had a small seizure. Then the second nurse gave me a blue pill and didn't tell me anything about it. Today January 30th 2025 I went to the clinic. The person at the front desk wouldn't stop staring at me and my boyfriend and she wasn't the nicest person. When I was talking to the nurse I asked her a questions. She said that she didn't know and that she would ask the doctor. When the doctor came in she told me my results I had to ask her my question because the nurse didn't tell her. Also one of the blinds where down and we thought there was someone behind the blind that was talking to the person at the front desk. Then when I got called back we saw a nurse or doctor sitting behind the blind talking when she is supposed to be working because there was people in back and at least one person waiting to be seen.

i took my son in for wheezing, shortness of breath, continuous fever. We weren’t even in the waiting room for 5 minutes before we got called back, Dr. Barton was the doctor working and he was AMAZING met me as soon as i got taken back, grabbed my son up and evaluated him IMMEDIATELY. he didn’t act like my concerns were stupid, he cared for my son very well, and so did the whole staff. 10/10

I went here for my first time today. The lady who registered me (Monica) was such a warm, welcoming sweetheart. The gentleman who took me back for my test was amazing as well. Very pleasant first experience at this hospital.

We came to the hospital today to get an MRI done for my wife. Jeff and Lisa in Radiology and all the rest of the hospital staff were friendly, helpful and put my wife at ease regarding her procedure about which she had been quite nervous. Great experience here. They got us in and out efficiently. We will gladly recommend.

Went to the ER for a sting. Arm very swollen, warm to touch, super red. Ended up having to get a steroid shot and antibiotics for cellulitis. The nurse that took care of me and the doctor as well were both great! I was very surprised to be In and out in an hour. And would have been even sooner, but had to sit 20 mins after the shot to make sure had no reaction. Very pleased with the care I received!

I went into the ER at 5:30pm, front desk was helpful and I didn't wait long to be seen. However, after covering my symptoms and current conditions, it's as if they weren't listening to anything I described. They took labs and a urinalysis which was obviously abnormal by color. They had a Dr. Barton fumble with a bedside ultrasound for my side pain. He said that a formal ultrasound may be necessary but tried to say that my nausea was just pregnancy related and my pain was merely constipation. Having gotten worse in front of their eyes, leaving in more pain than I came in and vomiting, I took there instruction for another 24 hours only to go to another hospital to hear my urine had a significant amount of blood, THEY NEVER MENTIONED, and a formal ultrasound revealed I have a kidney stone. No patient wants to have an honest condition ignored for the sake of pushing people through the ER. I will never go back there.

disgusted with Dr Flats. he should not have a job. didn’t even want to come to the hospital but after hours of being told to that i go. after coming in and looking at me for 2 seconds, (and by looking at me i mean he came in looked at me like i was some sort unicorn that that fell out the sky and bestowed upon him) he then proceeded mocking me for my tremor a literal medical condition in which i’m very embarrassed about! he then ask why am i here, I TOLD HIM THEY TOLD ME TO COME ! and mind you the whole interaction he’s mocking me !!! So i told him, you know what just reschedule my appointment, because at this point i would rather go without my meds, he proceeded to tell me no, and just walk out? Dr Flats i’m calling the state board i hope you lose your job and never have the chance to do this to anyone else. And i’m sorry for anyone else that has to be around him. IVE NEVER had a bad experience EVER at IU. I’m sick to my stomach. IU Jay do better!
