Yall, every time I go there it’s a horrific experience. Every time. The doctors all treat you as if you are looking for narcotics. The nurses talk bad about you between each other from the station and can be heard from your room. When providing the “treatment” they do not communicate at all, so you leave not knowing what the issue was or what they did to help. It is just simply a horrible hospital. Period.

I had the best experience with Jeff Davis Hospital. I went in to the emergency room with Afib. The staff worked quickly, efficiently, and with great care to get this situation under control. I was admitted for observation, and continued to receive excellent care. My room was clean and pleasant, the food was excellent, and every member of the staff was super nice and very caring. I am so grateful for our hospital, and proud of the excellence of care!

I had surgery on Tuesday and it went really well. Everyone that I came in contact with treated me like they truly cared and were concerned. Dr. Butler and his whole surgical team gave me awesome care. I was really nervous about the surgery and had been putting it off for quite some time, they were there with me calming and comforting me from the time I arrived until I got in the car to go home and they called and checked on me the next day. It was the best care and overall experience I have ever had in a hospital. Thank you so much Dr Butler and Jeff Davis Hospital.

Everyone was just wonderful. So quick and efficient while being friendly and compassionate. They got me prepped for surgery and the next thing I know I woke up from a deep sleep and Ouch! I had new pain but the bad pain was gone. Next thing I know my son was there to get me and I got to go home to my comfy bed. All in one day. Thank you to all the medical staff that made that happen. You all were awesome! My hero’s.

My son was brought in via ambulance due to a dislocated elbow at a wrestling tournament. The ER doc & nursing staff were great! They kept us informed and allowed us to be supportive for our son the entire time. The orthopedic said they did a great job getting his elbow back into proper alignment.

Well you see, the “Provider” I had the misfortune of seeing was Jim. Jim may be good at many things, but what he’s best at is dehumanizing patients. If you want a provider who does NOT do an exam, does NOT speak with you, and ONLY speaks AT YOU, then leaves the room - never to return - Jim’s your man. If you want to spend hours waiting and crying, hoping to be helped, see the provider’s face for about fifteen seconds (though it was probably less), have LITERALLY ZERO exam or discussion, then wait another hour before you can leave crying even worse and feeling subhuman - on top of whatever’s already wrong - there’s nobody better than good ‘ol Jim. NOBODY should EVER have to experience something like this when they are sick and in need of compassion and a healthcare provider who wants to do their job and actually cares about their patients. He has ruined this entire institution in one visit, and I am more than happy to share my experience with EVERYBODY. Great job, Jim! ⭐️
