No le daría una estrella a esta clínica antes de preguntar qué tiene tú mascota lo primero es el Dinero precios exagerados, mi opinión sí no puedes pagar adelantado se puede morir tú mascota que su objetivo no es salvar su vida es ganar dinero.

The staff here saved my sweet girls life. She was extremely sick and I felt letting her go was the most humane thing I could do for her. My heart was broken believing that was the best option for her, I’d never want any of my babies to suffer. Dr Cheever offered basically a last resort and by the grace of God, it worked!! Rue and I are extremely grateful. She is her sweet and spunky self again! Thank you hardly seems enough!! My heart is so very thankful I brought her here. My dogs are my best friends❤️

Horrible I mean horrible service . I brought in a 2 week old kitten who was extremely weak. Hope came to us quickly and told us what she was going to do . And told us she doesn’t think this would be an end of life situation . That was a relief . We waited about 2 hours before Dr. Sayre seen us and they sat us in the euthanasia room . We thought maybe it was because the rooms were already taken . She comes in and said “he’s dying you have 3 options but honestly the first one is expensive and he’s not worth the minimum 2,000 bill. You could also take him home and do extensive care of feeding every 15 minutes and that means you can’t sleep , or leave him alone , and the final is we put him down and that’s what I recommend”
Then she proceeded to brag about how she breeds dogs that have breathing issues and they die all the time and she knows what she’s doing and told us we can get 4 show quality cats for the price of the vet bills we have on him already. She also slid in the fact that we should just adopt a healthy cat and not take in the sick and dying ones.
We said we’re taking him home to give him a chance because he fought this long he can do it again with proper instructions and medication.
We leave the room and Hope came out and told us his body temp was getting better and she was going to tube feed him . We told her what Dr. Sayre told us and she was shocked at the information she told us and assured us that he’s not at the end of life stage he just needs a lot of attention and commitment to make it. And she walked us through everything . Hope was amazing by far she actually cared and gave us the time out of her night to help not only our kitten but also us. She gave us the hope (no pun intended) on our baby kitten. I honestly wished I could give a better star review but Dr. Sayre ruined the hospital for us for the final time. But hope she’s a great vet tech and has such a huge heart for animals.

1 week update - he’s still alive and thriving to the point he’s gained weight , eating 10x more than he was. We never gave up on him unlike the vet who wanted to end his life that night

2 month update - he’s 4 pounds no eye infection and is in perfect health

7 month update - He’s alive and in perfect health still… pay the price and go to blue pearl at least their vets treat you and you pet with dignity and respect

Our family had two separate emergency visits with different dogs in this past week. Both times were handled by the staff quickly and professionally. During our last visit, we had to say goodbye to one of our family members and were able to take all the time we needed without feeling rushed. The doctor and support staff handled us gently and handled our sweet girl with respect and care. This job is not easy. Thank you for being there for us ❤️

Absolutely the worst experience of our lifes!!
My daughter is deaf her animals are her children
On Monday we lost our 10yr old therapy dog
By Thursday our 2yr old cat became very ill
We rushed him out to Jefferson Animal Hospital
They demanded $650 before they even would look at him
And another $250 after waiting for 3 hours while the staff played with their puppy
Our beloved cat died a horrible death the next day
That money could have been spent rescuing other kittens
DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO
JEFFERSON ANIMAL HOSPITAL
PLEASE

The staff at JAH is nothing short of incredible. They were all extremely empathetic, calm, and communicative when my dog was hospitalized for hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and a possible soft body foreign obstruction. They gave me extensive updates after every test, which reduced my anxiety knowing she was being treated by experts. I am grateful we have such an amazing hospital in the Louisville area. Princess Bubblegum is healthy and happy again. 🙂

We had an unfortunate and upsetting emergency with our smallest dog. She survived, but did lose an eye. Everyone at Jefferson Animal Hospital took good care of our dog, and of us. We have had a vet emergency before, and they can be expensive. I am glad that we bought pet health insurance after our last emergency. It is inexpensive and has proven to be well worth it. We really appreciate knowing that Jefferson Animal Hospital is around. They are open when everyone else is closed.

Can’t thank this facility and its employees enough for saving our cat’s life. They immediately assessed she was critical and started treatment immediately. They gave her top notch care and I don’t think she would have survived had we not brought her. We will definitely bring our pets here if any emergencies. Thank you Jefferson Emergency Animal Hospital
