This store has great deals. Only downside is their curbside ordering. I've done it a few times and more often than not, it's a disaster. Don't even try to get groceries if it's close to the last time slot, you won't get them

On this day, December 7th, 2024, 7:32 p.m. this store has gone downhill, big time! Went to the deli at 7:32 and asked them for half a pound of Bologna. The young African American man refused very ignorantly, I might say, and proceeded to tell me we had already cleaned the slicers I asked him what time you closed and he would not answer me. even though the deli doesn't close until 8:00 p.m. I proceeded to say really you can't slice me half a pound of Bologna, and he again ignorantly refused. When I went to check out, I asked for a manager. The manager came, and his appearance was not good he was sloppily dressed his clothes were really dirty, very unfriendly, but he did offer to go get bologna for us. And then, about 7 minutes later, he came back saying they did not carry The Boar's head bologna, his attitude towards us was extremely unfriendly, like we were bothering him. I normally don't judge people, but this man was so sloppy and dirty it blew my mind! And the young man at the deli was very rude. I think Jewel needs to do a total overhaul on some of their employees, including the night manager! I absolutely will not go shopping there again! And let me tell you I spend a lot of money on groceries every week. I have a very big family, and when I say a lot of money I mean a lot!

I love going to this jewel osco. But there's a African American male cashier who displays a very uncomfortable & unprofessional attitude toward other African Americans who shop that I've seen on numerous occasions. This evening, I went there to get a few groceries & he didn't speak, ask if I had a reward number, & didn't even say what my total was. I could've had a hidden disability or anything. Yet if I seen observe him being extremely friendly to Caucasian customers. I used to work for jewel & this type of behavior would NOT be excepted. It make people shop at other store. It's sad

On my way home from work I planned on stopping at Jewel in Dyer for a rotisserie chicken. They are awesome here. You can get Regular, no-salt, Lemon Pepper or Rosemary Garlic.

I stopped in at 4:45. Right after work. And a time that I would think many people would be coming in for the same reason I did. No chickens were ready when I arrive. I waited my turn then asked "How long for a rotisserie chicken"? They said 45 minutes to an hour. They didn't even have any in the oven baking. I did not want to wait. I expected, as always, that there would be some ready for immediate take home.

Having to wait that long for a meal you expected to be ready is really not acceptable. I planned on just going in and grabbing dinner and going home. Since this is no longer true I probably won't come here again expecting to just grab a dinner. Why would I try this again? Maybe I can pick up a nice quick meal, maybe not?

Worst experience of my life at any jewel! My day was going so welll until I stepped foot into this place! Me and my fiancé were there to get some stuff for dinner and decided hey let’s get some stuff to make sandwiches so we can have a small lunch before dinner. It was 2:58pm 3 workers in the deli all of which just talking to eachother not really working. It’s now 3:15 one of the workers leaves while we are still waiting! Boom 3:23 they finally finish one customer and starting calling numbers yet everyone had left pretty much. One customer in front of me so workers decided it was break time? I walked away at 3:32 with just diss appointment not the lunch meat and cheese I wanted! May never return to this location

Powers out in part of dyer and they decide at dinner time to stop cooking chicken. Employees doing stock work are blocking and taking up multiple isles and when trying to get past them they're ignorant and miserable. It'll be a very long time before I enter a jewel again.

Nicer seems like a newer Jewels but it has a cramped a$$ layout. Plenty of products fast and efficient cashiers but the structure is just narrow and you feel like you are always on top of people in the store.
