After over 15 plus years of using Jonesboro Animal Hospital, I will never go back. Nor would I recommend anyone else go there. Since being bought out by corporate America, The service has completely gone downhill. I feel bad for the staff that remains as I know it is not their fault. I scheduled an appointment while I was at the office for another animals visit only to show up for said apt and be told rudely that I would not be able to keep my appointment because my Pet had not received his annual visit yet. I informed the gentleman that his receptionist scheduled my appointment and if my animal had needed his annual visit, she should have let me know when I was scheduling the appointment. He proceeded to tell me that he could not break the rules and work me in when I already had an appointment. I understand that there are policies and procedures that must be followed but the negligence and incompetence of a staff member is not my fault. This is not the first time that this has happened. I had continued to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I will no longer be using their services.

Searched through a number of veterinarians and settled on JAH. From the initial phone call to the appointment, everyone was professional and showed genuine care for my pet. They took the time to answer all of my questions and gave additional info on the proper care for my pet. Definitely glad I made the decision to go with them and found a home for my pet's veterinary needs! And, their prices are very reasonable!

I have been going to Junior for many many years. I trust no other vet with my babies. He has vetted over a hundred and fifty babies that I have rescued and has always done a wonderful job and taking well care of them. He also cared for my Precious and Little Bit my personal babies their whole life and they lived to be 18 and 20 years old. I have known Stephanie for years since she started working there and she has done a great job for Jonesboro Animal Hospital. I love all the staff and would highly recommend bringing your babies to Jonesboro Animal Hospital.

I don't know if what the other poster said is true and this review won't matter since they are closing down, but it's deplorable that they announced to staff they were closing on the 12th then close the next day. They are also really inconveniencing people who might have needed care and boarding during the holidays by being so last minute. God I hate corporate America with all my being. I feel bad for the staff and customers.

This was our first visit to Jonesboro Animal Hospital and we’ve found our new vet. The staff was pleasant and efficient, Dr Rudd took time to answer all questions and everyone was patient with my skittish rescue dog so by the end of the visit she was no longer apprehensive. Added bonuses were the fact that the basic tests were done during the visit (not sent out to a lab) and the prices were reasonable and affordable.

I took my new dog who had never been to a veterinarian in for shots and tests, and everyone was so kind and understanding of his background. He received great care, and I was glad to find out that even though he had an issue not usually seen in this area, he received the care he needed.

Only been 1 time & it was a pleasant experience. They took time to listen to my questions & answered them nicely. I’m in the process of trying to find a good regular clinic for my new baby. I will be returning here.
