I had previously used another vet in town, but decided to change over to Kilgore Animal Hospital and it was the best decision I’ve made for my pets. They treat the pets so well and really inform you of what’s going on. My pet was having medical issues and the staff was so helpful and made what was a difficult situation as good as possible. This will be where I take my pets from now on.

Got my cat neutered. He was in in the morning, and we had him back that evening, no worse for the wear. He wasn't a big fan of them, but the staff were great.

I found out about Dr Kilgore through my daughter. She has a pit bull that she raised from 8 weeks old, to present. She loves her dog. He was her therapy dog, and so loving and loyal. He got sick, and almost died. My daughter went to Dr. Kilgores office, never had been there before, and they IMMEDIATELY hospitalized him. Prescribed medications to my daughter, for Boss. She set up a payment plan that my daughter could afford. She assured my daughter she would do everything to make sure her fur baby was going to be ok. She told me daughter payment can be discussed later and not to worry. Y'all, this lady is AMAZING. This is her job, yes, but her compassion and dedication to her job and these fur babies, is visible! I am now a pet owner, and I WILL be taking my baby to Dr Kilgore! Thank you for being who you are Dr Kilgore!! ❤️❤️‍?

Absolutely LOVE Dr. Merrick Kilgore!! My family and I would not see anyone else at Altamaha Animal Clinic when she was practicing there. We were so ecstatic when she opened her own practice. Definitely recommend and I will never go anywhere else...no matter how far I have to travel!
