First off the vet is overpriced compared to others in the area, but that’s not why I left a poor review. It was the candor of the woman that answers the phone, aptly named Karen.
I am a first time customer and long time resident in this area and will not only not return but will steer anyone else away from the vet.
They refuse to communicate w other pharmacies to get the medicine required for my dog. Their preference is to have you get a hard copy from them then send it to the pharmacists which adds a lot of time and effort into their customer. Also an odd practice is to have you collect a sample of both poop and pee from your animal. It is not easy to collect pee from a dog honestly.
Karen it’s not that hard to be professional and have a nice candor for most people, it takes just a small amount of effort. To then hang up on a customer because you are uncomfortable is very poor judgement as the person that answers the phone there.

I can’t say enough good things about Kindness Pet Hospital. We were at our beach home in Seacrest Beach when our golden retriever, Beau, started declining from his known aggressive lymphoma. We knew it was time to put him down. We called Kindness Pet Hospital (not our regular vet) and they were able to get us an appointment for that afternoon. Our experience from the moment we arrived was amazing. Everyone was so caring, from the front desk, to the vet tech, to the doctor. He went peacefully and we are so appreciative of the care he received in his last moments.

We just moved to the area this summer with our 15-year-old shih tzu Lucy. This whole past year she had been struggling with her health, but really went downhill in the last month.

This was our first time going here and unfortunately it had to be to put down Lucy. Not something we wanted to do at all but dr Carr was very understanding and helpful through the process and told us what to expect.

They sent her off to be cremated and they made us a little Clay paw print. A few weeks later, we received a sympathy card in the mail with all the employees and dr. Carrs messages to us for the loss of sweet Lucy. ❤️ we thought that was very thoughtful of them to think to do that

Our cat was worked into the schedule the very next day after a minor emergency. We were treated with care and concern and that meant the world to us. Our cat continues to have a good outcome. Thankful for the care and even pain medicine for our cat! We would highly recommend Kindness Pet Hospital
