I just love Dr. Sumter who is so kind to our crack head Odie! Odie is afraid of vets so we have to muzzle him but Dr. Sumter is always able to examine Odie with loving care! Shout out to the front desk always so helpful and kind! Best place for my scared little guy!

Appointments are easy to make almost same day because they care.

I have taken my dog Chase there multiple times and the staff is very welcoming and they see him right the way. I have never had to wait. The doctors and the staff are very relaxed and chill with the animals. I feel they truly care for them. My vet takes her time, I never feel rushed. Highly recommend this place. Lots of parking too 🙂

Its very difficult to write this review but I just wanted to thank the staff at Ladera Ranch Animal Hospital for doing their best to help my dog Winston. We brought him in during an emergency as he was unresponsive. They immediately began working on him but he needed a blood transfusion which they did not have.
They quickly routed me to the next closest emergency hospital and loaded him in the car.

As every second mattered they did not even mention payment which I really appreciated and the only reason why I am writing this review. About a week later they reached out after sending a thoughtful card and that was squared away.

We made it to the next hospital and they began working on him but sadly he did not make it. My world shattered that day.

Ill always miss my little Winny. Thank you for trying your best to help him.

It's been hard to find a good Vet especially I was making a last min appointment. Ladera Ranch Animal Hospital receptionist / customer service was quick response and courteous. I booked with Dr. Sally Huang for an exam and vaccination for one of my foster dogs, Coby. Dr. Huang was very thorough and detailed. She noticed little things about Coby and explained to me in a simple way. Dr. Huang was caring, not just trying to rush me through, and answered all of my questions. She also made some great recommendation for Coby. I am so glad I found Dr. Huang and Ladera Ranch Animal Hospital. I will definitely be bringing my own dogs and other foster dogs here.

Dr. Huang and staff were awesome!! Dr. Huang was so patient with Jaq as a new patient. She took time to get to know Jaq and make him feel comfortable. We were able to feed our 110lb, 2yr old, German Shepard, puppy ice cream while she gave him 2-shots in the hip, 1 shot in the shoulder, exam him and spray vaccine in his nose. There was no “growl” no head flick back or fearful behavior. Jaq focused on his puppy ice cream and left less fearful of the vet’s. So happy we found this place!!!

Completely misdiagnosed my dog, they took extremely blurry Xray photos. Overcharged. Called me to check in on my dog and when I told them what the emergency room vet told me about all of this misdiagnosing Ladera Ranch Animal Hospital did, they were not willing to reimburse or help in any way shape or form. This vet had me crying basically saying my dog was dying with 3 different major issues (which were not even the case at all) when the day before she was literally the happiest girl in the world! I will NOT be returning nor will I EVER be recommending this vet to ANYONE. Please go elsewhere!
