I recently visited PetSmart and had the pleasure of meeting a sweet cream tabby who, to my surprise, only had three legs. After reading more about her, I discovered that she had been hit by a car and left on the road. A good Samaritan brought her to Lake City Animal Health & Wellness Center, believing she would need to be put down. Instead of taking the easier and likely less expensive route, the Lake City performed surgery that saved her life, though it left her with three legs.

This has been on my mind since I left, and I wanted to publicly thank Lake City Animal Health & Wellness Center for their incredible compassion. Thank you for prioritizing her life over the cost. I truly hope that whoever adopts her cherishes her as much as she deserves. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My cavaliar need emergency care while staying at our Lake house. Dr Carla took him in immediately and treated him with care and affection and affordablely. He is known diabetic and only 4 yrs old. The staff were all wonderful and the lobby is beautiful

Tragic circumstances brought me to Lake City Animal Health and Wellness. Dr. Carla and the staff were wonderful. Very knowledgeable, kind and so caring. We bring all of our animals here. The veterinarian we see is a shining star! She has blue hair..I wish I remembered her name. We love her so much! She gave us information on our animals that our previous vet failed to tell us. PLEASE BRING YOUR FUR BABIES HERE! ❤️ They truly care about the animals and you can see that 100%! Thank you guys for everything!

This animal clinic is amazing, I have a shy puppy and they treated her with respect and were careful not to spook her. They gained her trust and performed the examination efficiently and gave my puppy the vaccines she needed without her even noticing! I am also doing a puppy kindergarten here to socialize my new puppy, I am happy that I found a local place to make sure the newest member of my family is healthy and happy
