We just lost our sweet Sophie. Dr. Po not only did an amazing job as a Veterinarian but her compassion was truly moving. We love this practice normally but last Tuesday really proved why. Thank you Dr. Po and your unbelievable team.

The doctor that I saw was an absolute sweet heart.
The "stray" that I had found, she checked out quickly and efficiently. Found the owner using her microchip and helped me return the baby to them! I am sad to see the little fella go, especially be that they let the little void outdoors near a busy road at night. But wish her the best.

This was my first visit with one of my fur babies (the other had been a few years ago).
After a compassionate visit with Dr. Alexander, our very sick senior baby came home with a diabetes diagnosis and an immediate lifestyle change. The following day, we received a text in the morning to see how she was doing. We felt seen, heard, understood and very well cared for. All of us.
The facility and rest of the team are top notch too!

This place was so nice with my dog!! I have a chihuahua who actually likes people, but he was so nervous today, and the doctor came in and was sooo good with him!! Definitely going to return here. He showed me how to give him his medicine, and was so nice and understanding! Everyone had smiles and was so friendly to my boy. Great place!

Dr. Pinney and all of the staff here are wonderful. They are great with our pet rabbit and cat— I can always trust that they are in good hands at this vet. Each time I go, appointments are on time, and visits are quick and efficient yet do not feel rushed. Everyone is so friendly, and prices are very fair. I once had to bring my rabbit in for an acute visit and was able to make a same day appointment on a Saturday without breaking the bank, which I was very grateful for. Very glad I have found this vet in Mooresville, and would 10/10 recommend to anyone in the area.

My husband and I never write reviews, especially poor ones, we try to give people the benefit of the doubt. We had such a poor experience here though, we wanted to write this review so we could share our experience. You can determine after reading this if this is the right vet for you, but if you like being taken advantage of and scammed then think twice. The following work day, I shared this frustrating experience with my fellow coworkers who shared they have had the same experiences at this veterinarian location. We took our dog in after having multiple days of diarrhea. We originally thought (and still do) think it was due to an excess amount of dairy ingested while prepping Thanksgiving food. We were called back to meet Dr Mary Alexander. She started out by saying she wants to make this the most cost efficient for us as she can. Later I realized this is something she most likely says to make it sound like she’s on your side financially. She talks extremely fast and every question she asked us it’s as if we had a time limit to respond and if we didn’t respond quick enough she would answer it for us. She makes a lot of incorrect assumptions due to this pattern leading to misdiagnosing. I am a healthcare professional and it was very hard to think through decisions logically as if felt like we were in a sales pitch the entire time. And when you’re concerned about your dog it puts you in a vulnerable position that she takes advantage of. We brought in a stool sample in case a test would be needed. We were essentially talked into doing a $160 test that covers “everything” except Giardia. She worded the test as “not that expensive”.We hesitantly agreed to it then realized as she went to go grab a vet tech it was also a blood test, which would’ve been nice to been educated on this prior we probably would’ve said no. She sent us home with a medication to cover Giardia in case our dog did have it. Mind you, the main symptoms of Giardia is extremely watery diarrhea and it’s most commonly contracted from contaminated water. We were very clear our dog only drinks bottled water and she does not live on a farm or drink outside water. Our receipt showed our dog was also given anti-nausea medication (when there was no reason to give it), she forced us home with food she kept trying to pitch us, and the $160 test. We NEVER RECEIVED RESULTS FOR THE TEST. The medication she sent home for the Giardia along with the prescription dog food gave our dog WORSE diarrhea than she had in the first place. We texted her this as she gave us her number to let her know updates and to also ask for the test results. We texted her the diarrhea got worse. Nothing back. The next day, we took her back to her normal diet and stopped the food and medication the vet gave us. Our dog went back to normal
completely on her own. The medication she gave us would not have kicked in to cure everything with only one dose. Two days later we texted for the results of the expensive test (we knew it was negative since she has been perfectly healthy but thought we might as well get the results since we paid for it). NOTHING BACK. In total they charged us 400 DOLLARS to be scammed and ghosted. Nothing will correct this unless we are refunded for the pointless test we were coerced into doing for test results we were never given, which is ILLEGAL. We are at over a week now since we visited the vet and our dog as been completely fine. We knew it was the dairy that irritated her bowels. We should’ve been started with a normal anti-diarrheal and went from there. Instead, she was quick to do everything in the book right at once to get as much money out of us.

Dr Cloninger assisted in end of life treatment for our sweet Boxer. She was so kind and empathetic during the whole process. The tech who was with her was great as well. We really appreciated the kind gesture of allowing for us to go out a side door afterwards. Can’t say enough about the compassion shown by the staff towards our sweet boy the past few weeks.
