Don't bother calling anyone else! From first phone call through final walkthrough LTPH is Professional, Courteous and Prompt. They do Quality work (I'm picky about that), they deal with any permits needed and they make sure they exceed any required standards. A real class act. We have had a wonderful 14 year relationship of both planned and emergency service. I won't call anyone else!

I hired them in the past and recently contacted them to clean my dryer vents. The other service provider I called who previously did this service wouldn't come out due to seasonal weather for the next two months. Lake Tahoe had same week availability. Plus, the technician went above and beyond and was extremely efficient. More than happy to share my endorsement for LTP&H!

We are long time tahoe locals....and I am surprised this place still has any customers after our horrid experience with them. It is no wonder they have three stars.

We called Lake Tahoe Plumbing late January 2023. We had a water pressure issue in our kitchen sink, and they came right away (which was very nice).

The technician was very professional and kind, but the issue was resolved in roughly 3 minutes and the company still wanted to charge us $240.

When I called, some lady named Suzanne immediately started yelling at me, telling us that they were charging us $240 no matter what. After five minutes of unprofessionalism from Suzanne she rudely said "do you want to talk to the owner?" After she got back, she offered us a whopping $40 off -- so the total was $200 for three minutes of work, which equals $67/minute.

Use this company if you want a to be over charged (local plumbers are now $240/hour? seriously), and yells at their customers for asking for some grace on price for a logical and reasonable request.

$240 / hour for a plumbing services....what a rip off and what a joke.

INCREDIBLE SERVICE!! Our furnace died during the first winter storm and we were without heat. Tahoe Plumbing & Heating came out the next day to assess the problem and determined a new furnace was needed. They quickly provided us with a few different quotes at various price points. We had the new furnace installed within the week!! Steve and his team were so professional and fast. They educated us on the problem and empowered us to make the decision that would work best for our home. An absolute joy to work with. I can’t recommend them enough!! Five stars!

I've never written a negative review before but I have no choice but to vent my frustration with this company. I recently had an issue with my heater (which I purchased from them). On the first appointment they could not fix the problem and so 6 days later an appointment was finally made to again try to fix the issue. First of all the technician was suppose to be at our house before noon. Well, no one showed up and it was 1:30 pm and no one bothered to call. After 3 attempts I finally found out the tech would be there at roughly 3:30-4. Ok so the tech shows up and was able to fix the problem which could have be solved on the first appointment. What's really aggravating is that I was charged for two service calls on my credit card. The ladies in the office, Rosie and Erica, were really nice but the owner, Steve, was very short with me, very rude and wouldn't issue any credit. This in my mind was totally unacceptable especially when the problem should have been fixed on the first appointment. It must be nice to have so much business that the owner can't even be customer service oriented. I even wrote a follow up tactful email to him and never got ANY response. Very sad............

Wayne was the best technician. 20+ years of experience. Living in a mobile home there are certain things that stand out if there’s a issue. He found it within 15 minutes & had the heater going within the hour. Excellent Service and we’re very grateful to the lady at Dispatch!

I rarely leave any reviews online, but need to do this today! Just cannot believe what has happened! In early Feb, my property manger informed me that the furnace of my vacation house seemed to be not running (turned out to be a misjudgement later). I called Lake Tahoe Plumbing and Heating, and was told the service charge will be $70. I called a couple times that day and never got an update. The second day, the owner called me and said the furnace was running when the technician got there, but it was old, and suggested me to replace the whole furnace. I asked again, since they did not do anything at all, what the charge would be. He said he still needed to charge $70 service fee, and he would send me the invoice along with the quote of replacing the furnace. That is fine. However, since then, I have never heard from this company again. Over two months later, my credit card shows $140 charged by this company. I called, and now the owner says he never said $70 and someone spent one hour in my house that day so $140. I cannot believe a person can just deny what he said like that! He did agree that the furnace was running and they did nothing. Then, why one hour? Just watch it running? What about the invoice and the quote? Now I was told they had my email address wrong. But you do have my phone number and mailing address, right? In addition to that, since their “service” day till the day we arrived at the house, I had no tenant in between, a new ladder and a fairly new steam iron in the garage were gone. They were actually the only portable worthy items that someone can access from garage entry. What a coincidence! I know, after all, this is just a couple of hundred dollars wasted for nothing, but the whole experience makes me so sad and disappointed! I love Lake Tahoe, and have met many nice people here. For years, I have worked with quite some contractors in the area, while we were present or not during the service, never had an experience like this. My lesson learned is: NEVER NEVER NEVER do business with this company again! This was my 1st time working with Lake Tahoe Plumbing and Heating, definitely the last time!

I was very pleased with Lake Tahoe Plumbing they responded quickly and diagnosed our problem. The owner was courteous and very professional. He sent out a highly skilled plumber Brian who had the problem diagnosed in about 10 mins. He left for a short time to get the parts that he needed, and returned and had our hot water up and runing, I am very satisfied with Lake Tahoe Plumbing and would recommend this company to anyone.
