This is the best possible way for a beloved pet to leave this earth. My boy was losing his battle to cancer very fast, he hated ver offices and was always very stressed there, I didn't want that to be his last experience in life. So instead he got to spend the whole day enjoying laying in the shade under a big oak, eating steak and ice cream and potato chips until Dr Maggie came and gave him steak and love and he went to sleep under the cover of a huge oak with fresh air surrounded by everyone he loved and a belly full of yummy food. The people who do this line of work are Angels and I am so thankful that his last moments where so peaceful and happy.

Saying good-bye to our 14 year old lab Layla was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Lap of Love is one of the most understanding companies I've ever dealt with. When the time finally came they sent Dr. Maggie to our home in Port Charlotte. She was one of the most compassionate people I've ever met. She really helped us get through an extremely difficult time and allowed our Layla to peacefully cross over the rainbow bridge. Thank you Dr. Maggie and Lap of Love for helping us through this difficult time.

Honestly one of the best and worst decisions I had to make in my life. Our dog Lucky had been with us for 12 great years. His unconditional love for us was obvious to all who came to our home. However the last several months had left him in discomfort that was hard to ignore and Lap of Love (Dr. Maggie) helped us through it all. From my initial phone call (which was difficult to even make to begin with) where I was greeted by Becca Riley. Her angelic voice comforted me almost immediately. She recognized how distraught I was in just making the call and assured me she would help me in any way. Once we set the date, she even told me to give Lucky some loving from her too. Dr. Maggie was spectacular. She treated my Lucky as it was her own. Petting him and comforting him the whole time. I would not wish for anyone to have to go through this experience, but if you had to do so, I'd highly recommend Lap of Love. They are Heaven Sent in more ways than one. Dr. Maggie is a true angel. She took one of the most difficult days I have ever had and made it more bearable. I am eternally grateful for her and all of her compassion she showed to me and my sweet old man Diego. His passing was quick, painless, and dignified. She will always be a hero in my eyes.

Our boy Cooper was diagnosed with a very aggressive blood cancer in July. When he started to decline & we were told by 2 vets he had a couple days to live, we decided to say goodbye to him instead of letting him go on his own where he could possibly have suffered. Dr. Maggie was very compassionate, caring & empathetic. She spent time with us and was very loving to our baby boy Cooper & our other dogs. Dr. Maggie explained everything that would happen & reassured us that our Cooper would have a peaceful passing. She more than willingly answered all of our questions & understood what we were going through and made us feel comfortable during what was one of the worst days of our lives. There truly aren’t enough words to explain how wonderful Dr. Maggie was. From the time I first called Lap of Love I was treated with the upmost compassion and kindness. I want to thank Lap of Love and all of their staff for all they do.
