Lap of Love has been nothing short of amazing. From the first call I made to make my baby's appointment, to our final goodbye, it was a very gentle experience. Everyone you talk to through the whole experience is extremely empathetic, sweet, and understanding. Through the tears and heartbreak it felt like there was a loving hand guiding us through the process. Our vet, Sam Counts, was the most amazing vet I've ever met. She made sure all of our questions were answered, she took all the time we needed, she had such gentle hands with my normally anxious lovebug. She made us all feel safe, and secure in the process and our goodbyes. She ensured my little dogs send off was a sweet and loving one, and I'll never forget the care and effort that went into those final moments. Thank you, to the sweet people in the office that answer our frantic calls, and the wonderful vets that have to help our pets cross the rainbow bridge. You all have made, a normally, harrowing, and traumatic experience, feel so much more like laying a family member to rest. You somehow made losing our baby feel a bit less painful, and less scary. My family can't thank you all enough for what you do.

From the very first call until my sweet girls ashes were returned to me, lap of love helped me on my most difficult day. Losing my girl was the worst, but the shining light was how compassionate the people at lap of love were. Every person on the phone is an absolute angel from heaven. And Dr. Sam was wonderful. She walked us thru everything and provided so much positivity and empathy. I was worried about the transporting and return of my girls remains and Dr Sam put my mind at total ease. My girl was transported so peacefully and beautifully, and she was returned me so quickly and with tracking. These people care more about the animal and the family than the money, which is sadly becoming rare here in the animal business. I cannot recommend enough

I used Lap Of Love to put down my retired service dog.

The vet was lovely and my dog laid his head in her lap and smiled up at her and I knew we were going to be okay. He went peacefully with myself and the vet on our family sofa, held and loved to the last. I can't express enough appreciation for the clarity, compassion, and commitment to my animal's comfort that I saw.

We had to say goodbye to our sweet boy last year. We knew the time was coming, but that did not make it any less painful. Lap of Love was the best experience for an end of life we could have given our sweet dog. Scheduling was very flexible and prompt. Dr. Sam Counts drove to our house and let us tell our story before letting us say goodbye to our dog for the final time. She was incredibly empathetic throughout the whole process. I cannot recommend this service enough as they made a very painful but necessary event the most peaceful experience. Thank you Lap of Love for everything you do.

For such an excruciating time, they made the experience kind and loving. I could not be more appreciative of how our cat’s final moments were spent. I had to call Lap of Love for the second time. The first time, in 2020, a wonderful, kind, and sensitive vet came to my house to help Rocky over the rainbow bridge. He was very old and afraid. COVID made it impossible for a very to euthanize a suffering critter with anyone else in the room. I could not let him die alone. They were amazing.

This March, I had to call them again for my old man kitty, Fritter. A different, but equally kind and caring woman came to my house. The experience was peaceful both times. I could not face taking my old friend Fritter on a scary drive and into a cold room to die. He got frantic whenever he was in a carrier or a car.

It would have been so traumatic for him. I can't thank this practice enough. It was terrible to see them go, but they really made it less traumatic. They will make a mold of your buddy's little foot and then sneak out. Thank you Lap of Love. I would (sadly) recommend this service to any pet owner who is facing this awful situation.
