I had to go in today to put my dog down, it was so heartbreaking and possibly the scariest decision to go through. Lisa was there to walk me through everything and was so understanding about everything we went through. I can not thank you enough for everything and helping my boy be comfortable through that. We miss him so much and knowing that he was in good and caring hands brought some light to our devastating situation. Thank you so much to our favorite clinic and to Lisa for doing a amazing job having such good hospitality.

To start off, we have been taking our German Shepherd here for 5 years now (since he was born). He has also been to obedience school and is very well trained and behaved. We have done all the regular visits at this clinic.
I called to make an appointment for our sweet boy to get his allergy shot from a vet tech and was told he was due for his rabies shot and a vet had to preform that shot. I said, “Ok when is there an opening for that? But he really needs his allergy shot.” She started arguing with me on the fact that he needs his rabies shot. “I understand that when is the next availability for the vet to do that?” Finally after arguing for over 20 minutes with me she said he has an appointment tomorrow morning. Why couldn’t she just have said that to begin with?
Now I'm super pissed especially after all the overly cautious actions used with him. They have wanted to put a muzzle on him and I would never allow that so there would be 2 techs and a vet with me holding him. He has never acted out, growled, or showed teeth even when he had a right to after being cut too deep on his nails to the point the quick clot didn’t even work. So I guess my point is if you are that afraid of bigger dogs, then you need to rethink your profession because they may be just a dog or cat to you but we as the families look at them as our sons and daughters and that is exactly what he is. Our dog is our son and is treated has such. We would not except our daughter being treated that way and we will not except him being treated that way, ever.
Furthermore, he may look like a meany but he truly is the biggest baby ever. After going to the new vet, they actually treated him like the sweet heart he is and not like Hannibal Lector. If you have bigger dogs go somewhere else, because they are bad about stereotypes!!

I thought I like this vet till last week took my cat to get a booster got home wasn’t acting right called brought him back down there they check him out said vitals everything is good ….the vet even said if it was my cat I take him home n watch him, but also said if you feel we can do a X-ray make sure I said there something wrong with him I want and x ray, then they come out oh we see the problem your cat as a blockage we can’t do it cause it’s weekend, need to take him to Grady hospital witch they was very caring up there knowing I couldn’t afford this this big surgery thinking I’m gonna have to put my cat down all way to the hospital , because this vet said you need to get him there quick ……get up there my cat is peeing he gonna be just be fine didn’t need any surgery few medications and out the door we went ! He is doing great as of today !!!!!! I will no longer returning and bringing my cat to their vet anymore ..we will be finding a new vet !!!! Scared me to death thought I was gonna lose my cat and he serious!!!!!!! He is healthy in living his best life!!

I have a 9 year old Australian shepherd who so happens to have epilepsy and is a little sensitive to people. She's gone here her whole life and I'm very grateful for them! From prescription every month to a emergency situation Lawrenceburg vet clinic has always been there for my pup and I couldn't ask for a better vet.
