We just moved back to the area from out of state and my sweet girl has diabetes. The tech Gabrielle was so sweet, welcoming and kind. Dr. M came in and was so attentive to our kitty. She made a great care plan for her and was very reassuring to me about the care we were giving her at home. She called the next day with the results and gave a good plan for the next week. I’m very impressed for our first visit and very confident using this vet in the future!

We moved to the area near this vet three years ago, and they have performed regular checkups as expected. They were were professional and treated our pets competently and with care.

However, when we presented a more specific and serious medical issue (swelling of the face and chronic nosebleeds), they came up with no useful information after $1000 worth of four different tests. Then they tried to pitch us some hack alternative medicine, with active ingredients a closely guarded secret by the Chinese government. The only available scientific information on this alternative medicine was that it was likely to cause nausea and vomiting in cats, along with a decreased platelet count (presumably bad for bleeding disorders). I do not feed secret drugs to my pets. Wanting to not give up, we followed the vet's recommendation for a specialist, but not before denying their offer to re-run the same tests again.

The specialist story was similar, with fruitless tests costing $3000 and a hail mary "try this alternative medicine" which we declined.

Short version: Did not fix cat, forwarded my business to another vet who did not fix cat. Cats symptoms are slowly deteriorating, but the testing and recommendations of this vet have put further treatment out of budget.

We just brought our cat for the first time to this vet, and it was an amazing experience. We came from a vet who was clearly working for the money and didn’t care about our pets. This veterinarian on the other hand was AMAZING, he let us ask all our questions even talked a little about our other fur babies. We did not feel rushed at all, the Veterinarian was quick with the shot and then he hung out and answered any questions concerns we had. The front desk and technician were equally as wonderful. Just an all around beautiful establishment. All of our pets will be coming here. If you’re in the market for a new vet, GO HERE, Lebanon Veterinary Hospital is the best and we couldn’t have better things to say about our experience.

New changes to the Lebanon Veterinary Hospital. Unfortunately these changes have negatively impacted the practice, despite reassurances the practice would remain the same. Inept staff preparing medications incorrectly. Returning home with medication that was never liquified. When I returned to the Vet with both powered bottles, the receptionist explained I needed to fill the bottles with 14ml of water. She demonstrated filling the syringe with six ml then another 4ml. I explained that 6+4= 10 not 14. I was then told the second bottle was not diluted as the antibiotics are time sensitive however, my initial appointment both doses were filled correctly at the same time. Returning home, I gave my dog the first diluted mixture from the receptionist which made my dog gag. I then noticed the first bottle was lacking the proper dilution, therefore, after filling the second bottle myself with the 14ml, it was clear the receptionist did not add the 14 ml, most likely it was the 10 ml as she incorrectly explained. Being charged for a medical disposable fee when the powdered medicine simply needed water. Called to speak with the doctor however, she never returned my call. I received a return call from the receptionist. The incorrect dilution made my dog sick, still no conversion with the doctor. Now, I am expected to return back for the third time. One cyst, two appointments was almost $ 450.00. Returned back to the urgent care building to receive the correct dilution, once the receptionist informed a tech there would be no charge, the reaction from the tech behind the cut out wall was extremely rude. Clearly she was unaware I was only inches away. The receptionist immediately stated I was in the building. So disappointed with the changes with this new practice. The practice is no longer a small town family run establishment. Sadly after almost four years of service, we will not be returning as the quality of care is beyond shameful.

Great first visit here! my dog was not a patient there but was able to be seen the day I called. Staff was very friendly and attentive to my senior pup. Did not feel rushed at all. The Dr. took her time on examining my pup and explained all care options. We found a new vet for our 2 dogs!

I adopted a kitten from a shelter out of state only to realize she had a fever and upper respiratory infection. I waited over six hours at another E.R (pets are triaged and seen in order of priority which I fully understand) and in the long run I gave up and decided to try elsewhere. I was a walk-in and didn't know their urgent care services were by appointment only. Despite this, and having no prior relationship as a client, the technician was very compassionate and accommodated me anyways. My kitten was seen and attended to in an incredibly timely manner, the level of care and compassion she received was above and beyond. Cost was incredibly reasonable, and every single staff member was a friendly, smiling face. I cannot thank them all enough!

Having just moved to CT from RI, I was appreciative that they were able to see my cat the day after I called for a possible emergency and it cost almost $300 for an exam. I was quite unhappy that I had to wait for test results. My cat was seen on 9/13, I called on the 19th when I still hadn’t gotten the results and was told they’d had the results since the 16th, but the doctor hadn’t had a chance to review them. I proceed to call once or twice more and continued to be told I would be “put at the top” and would call me that night or the next day. I finally was provided with the results on October 5th after responding to a text reminder that my cat was due for his 3 year shot. Since the results showed that it’s possible he may be diabetic again, I feel a 1 month delay is unacceptable and will be looking for a new doctor for my furbaby.
