Last time I was there it was to have my beloved dog laid to rest. The doc and staff are caring. Routine visits......the doc is real knowledgeable and diagnoses quickly and has the meds necessary to treat on hand. He has a beautiful property.

Took my baby there and the vet is great but my cousin had written a check that bounced because her bank account was hacked, she has spoken with her bank and they are working on getting it fixed so that we can get them paid but instead of calling us to inform us of this error the secretary instead sends us a very threatening letter, she could have simply made a phone call and spoke to us like a decent human being. They will get their money because I always pay my bills but to threaten us and accuse us of fraud over something like this is inexcusable, no one knew there was a problem with the account since 2 days prior my cousin paid her mechanic with a check and there was no issues with that. I will never go back there, I will pay more and go elsewhere

Stopped for Pixie while traveling. Somehow, she caught a flea 🥺 they were Excellent, kind , friendly, and made our puppy feel welcome ( even though she didn't like being weighed). The whole experience took less than 15 minutes. They do board animals here, too. Easy access from 81. Definitely will be stopping here again if need be.

We drove 45 minutes to visit LHAH for regular check-ups and vaccines for four years and my family has taken a couple different pets there throughout the years for the same, as well as boarding. We've had positive experiences, however professionalism has never been their strong suit. When I moved to North Carolina and needed vet records for an insurance claim for one of my dogs, I reached out to get a copy of the records. The receptionist was indescribably rude and after some debate (which included asking me to drive there to pick them up), said she would mail (not e-mail) me the records.

Long story short, it took an act of congress to get both of my dogs records (a crooked index card with barely legible handwriting, photocopied on a piece of paper with a stamp at the top), and after several conversations of being put on hold mid-sentence and hung up on, I'm writing in hopes of preventing others of having the COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY stress that I have had over an already stressful situation with my pet's (family member's) health.

Use this vet if you wish, but there are plenty of wonderful veterinarians out there, close by, that are professional, helpful, caring, kind, gracious...and will still be all of those things once you stop paying their bills.

They helped my cat some and I'm very grateful for that!! But the veterinarian (DR)was very rude and disrespectful. The nurse that helped. Was great! Not even the 1st antibiotic for a very sick cat?! What a bill! I will take my cat someplace else for shots and further help.
UPDATE: MY POOR BABY SPIRIT PASSED AWAY A LIL WHILE AGO. I'M HEART BROKEN! WHY WASN'T ANTIBIOTICS OR ANY OTHER MEASURES USED

Dr Gent is a great vet and extremely knowledgeable. His prices are fair and spends a good amount of time explaining the situation and what's the best way for your pet to deal with it. He takes care of your pet. God bless him and his wonderful team.
