Wow!!! From the minute I walked in and was greeted by Terri, I knew this place was special! She answered all of my questions - and was professional and empathetic.
I decided to bring my pup here after the wonderful interaction with Terri. The staff at Divine ARE Divine! Dr. Randy takes time to explain and Sandy (the hospital administrator) is so warm and caring. It’s a family business and it’s obvious their motto is treating customers, including the animals, with love/respect. After each visit Colby gets a “doggie” cone! Colby actually likes coming to Divine. Thanks you for such compassionate service. Love, Colby

Everyone here is incredibly compassionate!! We HIGHLY recommend this veterinary practice. Here's why ... We are Vero Beach snowbirds and always travel with our two dogs. Recently, our senior lab, Shep, became very ill. We got vet referrals from two neighbors and also called a few clinics but were told either they were not taking new patients or no appointments for 10 days. Also, some had very scary reviews!! We were so upset and didn't know which way to turn. I took a drive just to clear my head and saw a sign for Divine Animal Hospital. I parked and went in and was greeted by Terry at the front desk. Immediately she helped me and listened to my description of Shep's symptoms. She gave us an appointment right away. Sadly, we had to say good bye to our good boy that day but he went out eating candy kisses and two vanilla ice cream cones! We could not have asked for a more compassionate group of people. They took such care with both Shep and my husband and I. Dr. Naylor and the two vet techs were amazing - explaining the test results and all our options in such a calm, no rush way. Also, I noticed when I asked to use the rest room - walking through to the back area - the glimpse I got of where the animals were kept and the behind the scene was completely clean, organized and good smelling.
We are so grateful to now have the peace of mind that having an animal hospital nearby that we can trust gives us.

An exceptional small boutique style animal hospital. I have used over the years many vets and animal hospitals for both my own pets and animal rescues and Divine here in Vero is my top choice for personalized care and attention. The entire staff is excellent and the atmosphere very calming for your precious cat or dog. You will feel like family when you chose Divine. My new rescue Cindy could not be in better hands. As to their charges their rates are very very fair.

Dr. Randy Divine and his staff are extremely nice and knowledgeable. They offer a full range of services and took excellent care of my senior shih tzu, Lucky, since we moved to Vero Beach 3.5 years ago. They explained everything about my dog’s conditions and each of the treatment options. I am so grateful to have found this clinic and to have received their compassionate care when end of life comfort measures were needed.

My pet was failing and I called 12 different Veterinarians and mobile vets to no avail. I called Divine and Brittany not only tried to help me find a mobile vet but offered to help us if we could not. Dr. Shockency is the sweetest most professional vet I have had the pleasure of meeting here in Vero. The staff at Divine made us feel safe, comfortable, and at peace with what we had to do that day. We will never forget the compassion shown to us. Everyone will hear how much this clinic is doing right. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Disappointed... and $265 poorer.
The veterinarian continuously told me about all of their special services and pet insurance instead of listening to my concerns and telling me what the costs of those services would be. My dog is no better off at this point. My bank account is $265 lower than it was this morning. Still looking for a good, honest veterinarian in Vero Beach. However, the staff and Vet Technicians were very nice and handled my dog gently although they did an EKG on my poor dog before we even saw the Veterinarian. I'd give negative stars if I could. Do not use this hospital unless you have lots of money.

I have not yet gone here with my animals but I am trying to research more about this animal hospital. I have always had lots of furbabies and was in the military so I experienced many vetrinarians and know the horrors that can happen if not careful. I have only been in their entrance which is clean and spacious. I like that they advertise 24 hour emergency. Hopefully this also means that a tech spends the night with animals in their care and are never left alone, and they can contact the doctor if an emergency. From their website they seem to have all the equipment needed to make good diagnosises. I find this important ecause I don't like the health of my animal to be a guessing game. And if something can be fixed through surgery I want it taken care of. I have not had good care for my animals at any of the specialty clinics in Ft Pierce, Melbourne, or West Palm. We have been to all, and they have their own very expensive horror stories.

When I visited this office as a new customer no one offered a tour of the facility and they do not have any price list for their services. This gives me pause because I was once billed $7000.00 for dental cleaning and tooth extracts on two small dogs at a dog dentist in Westin Florida without any forwarning with my dogs being held captive. It is understandable that animal clinics can't give you an exact estimate of care, but they should at the very least advertise the costs of standard procedures.

UPDATE on Divine Animal Hospital
I wanted to love this place. It has the ability to be best in town. Everyone seems attentitive, follows up, they have all the bells and whistles in equipment, can be reached 24/7 for emergencies but here is what happened....They have seen 3 of my animals thus far and I am VERY upset with them. I have spent $6000.00 plus in the past 3 months at their clinic. I still have a dog holding up her paw and limping, I still have a cat crying out in pain and peeing in inappropriate places, and I have a dog with a swollen liver that They could not do anything for but subscribe medicine that may help. I let them do all blood tests and films they recommended to be able come up with diagnosis to fix their ailments and had all their teeth cleaned.

My one saving grace was that Twinkie, my dying dog with a swollen liver whose body can no longer handle the stress of vaccines, could still be groomed. Now they are telling me they won't groom her unless they put her under anesthesia charging me $250.00 to do so and while a chance of killing her. She's a 13 1/2 year old poodle that has been groomed her whole life by professional groomers that never once complained or said she needed to be asleep for grooming.

And Sophie, the main thing I asked to have checked was her foot because she was limping. Now they tell me to bring her back because they did not get her leg and foot in the films and xrays that they had taken. But that will be at an additional cost of the $6000 already spent. And they want to take another picture of her belly....but won't be able to do anything for it if the sludge is still seen(!?!) During those first films they told me that they saw a BB gun pellet in her (we rescued her from an abusive situation) yet never said anything about taking it out.

When you spend good money you hope that your animals will be in a better place and will be able to have health issues they are having resolved. I had hoped to find a doctor I could trust to give good care to my animals. My animals are still suffering with their original problems so I have lost faith and trust in them. This makes me sad..because I love my animals but they bled me dry without helping them.

Please recommend good vet if you have found one.

I rescued Fiona and her daughter Stormy about 6 months ago. First because they were neglected and second because the lady wanted to take them to dump them off at the humane society. Me being an animal lover took them in despite many issues they both have. Fiona having more problems...Today Fiona Darling had her first visit with Divine. A little pricey but worth every penny to get this girl back to healthy. I am so completely satisfied knowing they made a plan and talked to us about it to get Fiona happy and healthy again. The staff here were amazing with Fiona knowing how scared she was. She even got icecream and cookies. Great service all around. Ill definitely recommended them. We are looking forward to this adventure in getting Fiona on her way to feeling better. Thank you.
