I went to the ER recently because I couldn't stop my mouth from bleeding after having all my teeth extracted in preparation for dentures. I was also experiencing a lot of pain. I eventually got about 7 minutes of good care in a wait time of three hours. Everyone was helpful for those 7 minutes. My problem was the wait time. There was not enough staff to take care of people. The reason I went to Lutheran was because our doctor used Lutheran. I plan to call my insurance to see if they can give me a doctor that uses Park View Hospital. The service can't be any worse than what I got at Lutheran!

If had a complete hysterectomy 3 days before and was having horrible back pain all of a sudden. Pain worse than child birth or adult tonsillectomy. I'd been throwing up and crying on the floor for hours at home. They got me into a CT scan and ran all the bloodwork etc to find I had both a kidney stone and a bad kidney infection. So in the end I'm glad for them helping me when my Fort Wayne Gynecology & Oncology surgeon was not calling back all day with where to go/what to do.
However, the part I remember most and have concerns about is that when we got to the waiting room, my husband helped me into a wheelchair while he checked in, and I was in so much pain I slithered out and was literally on the dirty floor sobbing in pain. I laid crying on their dirty floor while the staff looked at me, walked by, did nothing to help me into a stretcher bed and be seen more quickly.
It was 30 minutes of crying on the tile floor, I still remember the little piles of dirt from peoples boots and my tears dropping into them, making little mud piles.
So, that's how I'll remember my trip to this hospital, my first time to an ER and my first time to Lutheran other than my surgery. My surgery nurses were FANTASTIC 3 days before, so to come back to the same facility, the next room over, and be left on the waiting room floor sobbing and wailing for 30 minutes was start contrast.
I won't be back.

The nurses were very busy when I came in with appendicitis. They had patients trying to leave rooms, yelling, praying, and just generally losing their minds. However, every nurse I encountered was very still very friendly and attentive and the doctor was empathetic and kind and was able to get me seen by a surgeon and have my appendix taken out.

I was very impressed with the service provided for me. The doctor came in immediately, ordered a CT scan and I had results within an hour. I needed to have an appendectomy and he called the surgeon immediately. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me in a timely manner. Nurses and doctors were great!

I give no stars went in with severe pain in left leg they did an ultrasound ruled out DVT never checked me for cellulitis told me it was muskoskeletal. The dr seemed not concerned at all even though blood tests were abnormal. I ended up back in the parkview Er Thursday evening with worse pain and cellulitis protruding down left leg had kch diagnosed me on Monday I wouldn’t have been as bad as I was on Thursday when I went to a different Er to get a correct diagnosis.

Not impressed. Gave me no blanket, nothing for feet and gown had no way to keep closed (no top snap and no tie). When I wanted to go to the bathroom was told to just get up and go on my own and drag my IV pole with me. Trash cans were overflowing. Dirty. The next morning I found a tick on my boob. I was not in woods and have no pets. Assume I got it at the ER since I am not even sure my bedding was clean. Terrible experience.

Every single person that helped and took care of me was outstanding, professional, knowledgeable and conveyed confidence and trust! Registration and all clinical staff were amazing and made me feel safe and listened to. Great job everyone!!!

Was very satisfied with the service. I received at KC. H.
Or or LKH emergency.
Everyone was very nice and considerate and care.. When I was released , I was told that I would get a prescription for Bow control and I got some medicine that I already had 5 bottles of it at my home and I did not get the bow control medicine. I even called the hospital and talked to one of the nurses to ask the Doctor to send me a script for the medicine and still have not received. DLH
