We have been bringing our dogs here for a couple of years. Both Dr Redman, and Dr Olsen were very kind and answered questions. The staff is always nice and very helpful. Most of our visits are routine, but one of our dogs recently had surgery. They have been very supportive throughout and I recommend them.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Madera Vet for more than 20 years. I have never received the poor treatment, customer service and lack of compassion or empathy that I experienced recently. I called to confirm my appointment for my injured dog, and was met with “you’re not on the schedule”. In the past, when scheduling errors occurred I was offered options for my pet’s care, another appointment, squeezing us in or alternative providers. Megan offered nothing but a stern “No”.
I requested to speak with the clinic manager and was told “No, she’s not available at all today.” Finally, Megan offered to put me on hold to see when the manager would be available, I was put on hold for 20 minutes then hung up on. I tried calling back every hour until closing, but was sent immediately to voicemail with a full mailbox.
This experience was so traumatic I have requested my dogs’ records and have changed vets. The lack of care and concern for my pet’s injury was so blatant that as long as Megan is employed at Madera I will go elsewhere.
After speaking with other staff members and sharing my concerns on the following days, they didn’t agree to address my concerns or act on them.
There are plenty of good veterinarians in Tucson, I suggest you go elsewhere.

It was our first time here. We normally go to VCA but wanted to find a place that was closer to home now that we have two dogs. This place is tucked away off Houghton road and gives you a very homey feel. The staff and doctors seemed very friendly, straight forward, and knowledgeable. Prices also seemed right. We'll be back again.

I have taken my two dogs to Madera for several years now and they always receive the best of care from Dr. Redman or Dr. Olsen..Their caring staff always makes you feel comfortable and at home. I have a special needs dog a female Rottweiler with chronic kidney problems and needing special treatment. Anytime I have called with questions or having to bring her in for special treatment they find a way to get her in as soon as possible. Best and most caring Vets I have ever been to and as a long time dog owner I have been to many...

Great experience! Friendly staff and affordable prices. My dog has bad allergies so I needed a clinic I could get a treatment plan from that wouldn’t break my bank account but still keep my dog itch free.

Made time available (originally said they were full for the day but asked what the issue was) for us after we got a 3 week old puppy to get my wife n I up to speed caring for such a young pup. Super friendly / professional folks. Even called a few days after our appointment just to see how the little guy is doing. I will be returning to and recommending them.

My mother took a chance yesterday with Madera out of desperation after a rattlesnake bite to her dog's face and not only was the staff friendly, accommodating, understanding and compassionate, they were judicious and knowledgeable and professional in addressing the issue. Taboot, the prices were fair and her dog was in and out the same day. Not only has Madera made a new client with my mom's 3 dogs but my dog as well as a result!
