My partner and I found 2 dogs wandering the road and needed to find somewhere to take them to be chipped and find an owner. Upon googling nearby vets that were open (it was a Saturday), MVH was the only one open! We called to let them know we were on the way and they provided leashes and waters for the pups when we got in. Thank goodness they were chipped and we were able to find the owner. 10/10 service!

They are by far the best vet I have had over the life of each dog I have had. They are PROACTIVE rather than reactive! Some have said they are pricey but if they give me and my pets the upmost care and attention, they are worth it 100%!!!!!

My dog goes to this vet, and also the doggy daycare. I love that they have places for the dogs to play outside! She's so happy! I'm very happy with the experience myself. 🙂

I highly don’t recommend this place, I took my dog in on Monday and paid close to $600 for them to tell me my dog had anxiety, even though in my heart and in my mind, I knew something was wrong. They sent me home, by Friday, my dog was Even worse, not eating, not drinking having problems breathing, and you’re telling me that this was anxiety, crazy ! luckily I went to. North Alabama Veterinary Emergency They were so amazing. They did a parasite test, which you would think that the would be one of the first things that they would do. They didn’t and found out he contracted something from a tick , The test was $$98 versus $600 and having to take a lot of medication now more because they couldn’t even listen to me or check properly my dog they really don’t care a lick about your animal. I will not recommend this place at all Plus, they treat you like Crap. Basically, just wanting your money they didn’t really care about you Highly recommend going somewhere else,

We are long term clients of Madison Vet and have always been pleased. Recently we had 2 dogs ill at the same time. We were seen right away with staff taking isolation precautions should the illness be contagious. Both are doing much better now thanks to Dr. Haldeman and all. I appreciate that everyone there knows our dogs and understands and works with their individual personality quirks.
The entire staff has always treated us with courtesy and care —from reception to exit. We are very happy clients.

My husband took our dog in because she had been wetting on herself. I did not like the treatment that my dog received. She didn’t feel well and nipped the tech because she wet all over herself when they made her lie on her back. Then the Dr asked my husband if she was trained. What a STUPID question. She didn’t FEEL WELL!!! And being trained has nothing to do with nipping someone. Then the Dr threatened to muzzle her the next time we brought her in like that was going to bother us? Definitely not pleased with the Dr and we have been going for 3 1/2 years.

The staff is so kind and compassionate to our 2 pittie boys. We love Dr. Estess! Our dogs have also had great experiences boarding here. If you're a nervous pet parent like me, this hospital really takes care of you.

Staff is great, been using them for about 10 years. My dog had a great time in daycare and boarding, slept for 2 days after coming home.
