• TERRIBLE customer service, very unprofessional - The technician Georgi arrived with a filthy machine to clean my one carpet and completed the work in less than half an hour
• My ivory rug was in mint condition before they came - just needed professional spot treatment for two small spots and looks worse than it did before cleaning (how is that possible)?
• I made it very clear, he needed to be gentle with the existing furniture, not to slop water on any of it, and be careful of furniture corners and dinging the sides
• The machine left new marks in four areas (the size of a football) on my rug that never existed before they came
• I had reservations before the technician left because everything was wet and seemed like it wasn’t done with care and was bad quality
• I gave him a towel and made him soak up areas that had standing water (on my hardwood floors, near my wood media cabinet and bar)
• He answered my questions and assured me that it would dry nicely- he said it seemed unfinished only because I was seeing the ebb and flow of areas the vacuum had suctioned the fibers in contrast with the wet strokes
• He assured me if there were any issues, he would return and make it right (he lied, even though i tipped him handsomely)
• Meanwhile my furniture was left sitting on wet carpet and some of it contributed to the new marks (even after I told him it didn’t look or seem right)
• I notified the technician and the scheduler an hour after the job was completed (same day) - that there were new areas with new marks that transpired because of the poor cleaning he did that he would have to return to fix those areas.
• The technician promised he would call me next day with his schedule, I followed up next day and no response.
• Peter the junior manager said “sorry not their fault.” 100% money back guarantee is a lie, they do not stand by what they advertise. I have photos as proof of poor quality and unprofessionalism over text and email.
• I will bring my business to Cleantech for their mistakes and again in the future.

The tech was fantastic, but the gentleman who quoted me the price charged $109 more than the original cost. I pre-paid to have 1 sectional, a couch and loveseat cleaned. Sent photos and told him more than once that the sectional was U shaped, not an L shape. Suddenly the quoted price was incorrect and he charges me more than the original price. Shady business for sure. Will be filing complaints with BBB and consumer affairs. Was VERY rude via text. Never again.

While I didn't ultimately use this company, I feel compelled to warn anyone willing to do so.

After coming across an ad for rug cleaning I thought, "Why not clean my vintage rug?" I reached out and they immediately sent price quotes for 30% higher than the advertisement.

After simply inquiring about the ad, they began to harass me, saying things like:

You should be more adequate about prices in Manhattan.
That is a joke.

And it took off from there. Offensively unprofessional company.
