Dr. Martell is the kindest vet I have ever met!! On his first visit with my very ill horse who is recovering from colitis, he spent almost 2 hours with she and I. Answered all my questions, treated us both with such kindness and concern. I am happy to say that after starting her on Dr. Martell's treatment advice, I have seen her recovery proceed more in 4 days, than it has in over two months!! And, I feel like we have a plan. He calls or texts on a regular basis to check on her and I. And, to boot, his prices are 30% less than my previous vet who I have been using for over 20 years!! What a great find! Feeling truly blessed to have Dr. Martell in our lives!

Dr. Martell did a pre purchase exam for me as a first time horse buyer. He and his assistant were absolutely amazing. They were gentle with the horse and very thorough. I wanted someone who would be honest and open about findings and I was not disappointed with his honesty. Scott evaluated my horse before I purchased him and has provided excellent care since then. I like the fact that Scott has many skills--vet services, chiropractic, and farrier. My horse has benefitted from each. Plus, Scott is just a good, honest person with whom to do business.

Occasionally life throws things at you and you're not able to take care of all the details yourself. And, occasionally, there will be wonderful, caring superheroes that volunteer to help you out of a jam....that was Dr. Martell and his crew last Saturday evening. We needed to evacuate our home and two horses very quickly as the Calwood fire appeared to be heading right towards our property. Dr. Martell was helping others evacuate and offered to help us. Within minutes, our two horses easily(ish) loaded into his trailer (along with another family's 8 goats:) and he took them to a safe pasture. We will forever remember their kindness, calm help (as we were on the verge of panic) and will always be grateful.

I have known Dr.Martell for a couple years now and use him both for farrier and vet work. He has been amazing since day one and very professional. All his work has always been great and done very well. He has great tools to keep our horses sound and have them in the best shape. Dr.Martell provides many services to keep my mare sound and has helped me fix issues. He is patient and always reliable. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my horse! I highly recommend his services!

Martell Equine took great care of my very sick dog. They went above and beyond to ensure that what they were doing was working, and made him feel comfortable and safe. Thankfully he is back to his normal rambunctious self. I have known Dr. Scott for a very long time he is kind and caring to animals of all shapes and kinds. He is the kind of vet you want when you best furry friend is in trouble.
