I brought my semi feral girl there to be spayed and get shots. The staff was AMAZING ! They took time to explain exactly how it would go. I’m not sure how they did it but they were able to draw blood, give shots, shave her belly, and clip her nails without her beating them up! Absolutely the only place I will take my babies to from now on!! I only wish I found them sooner!

Both are dogs went here for checkups we were told nothing was wrong with them and they said it would clear up in a couple of days. It did not we went to another animal shelter turned out our dogs were both dying. It was already too late. Had to put them down. Our cat who is very old 15 has been waiting for blood work for almost a week after saying the results would be in the next day. They were not , we didn’t get a call from them after they promised. I’ve been going here with my family and my pets since I was growing but I will NEVER look at this place the same, EVER AGAIN. Close down for all I care anymore.

The vet took great care of my dog when I had him neutered. They were very responsive to my questions and got him in quickly for another appt. They have the best prices in the area.

I went here for years, and I’m not sure why.
In all honesty I would never return. I have a purebred 115lb American Akita. He is very large & very powerful, he also does not like going to the vet.
This office is not equipped for any large animals with anxiety towards the office.
He was not happy to be there- instead of them focusing on a relationship with my dog or trying to bond with him they immediately had me muzzle him & they jumped him.
The Vet literally manhandled him to the ground like she was wrestling a crocodile in Florida,
It was one of the most horrid scenes I have ever seen play out in an establishment. I had to intervene and tell her to get off of my animal. She had no idea how to handle the situation or my dog. I ended up going to Shiloh Veterinary Clinic & when I tell you it was like night & day, it’s exactly that. After seeing a real veterinarian office tend to my dog, I’m horrified and ashamed anyone including myself would take their pets here.
Run from this business before it is toooo late!

I have been blessed do you have found the Mascoutah animal hospital. We moved here in 2007 and have had two dogs since that time frame. They have treated us with kindness, laughter, and professionalism. I love the no-nonsense care that I get and I love the warmth and laughter from the front desk staff.

Dr. Beth and her crew at Mascoutah Animal Hospital are amazing! Super friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Beth was incredibly patient and thorough in explaining my cat's diagnosis, treatment options, and answering my questions. Cannot recommend enough!

Me and my fur baby always treated super! Extremely caring vet (Dr Beth) and wonderful staff. Been going here for over 20 years and never disappointed. Love these folks.
