We have had such wonderful experiences with Mead Vet. They took such great care of our senior dog who needed a surgery. They went above and beyond for him. And helped calm our nerves with the surgery after another vet in the area was not that way and we had to switch vets for this surgery he needed. Then it was finally time today to send our sweet pup to heaven. The entire experience was so peaceful. They were so loving, kind, and understanding with the entire situation. They loved on our Kidu along with us. Our kids were also with us and felt so at peace. Thank you for your kindness and all you do! We highly recommend Mead vet!

My family and I have been taking all of our dogs and cats to Mead Vet for 10+ years. Every experience I have had here, each doctor and technician has always seemed very invested and knowledgeable about each pet and each visit. They see hundreds of dogs and cats a week yet they do such a good job at not making you feel like just a number. They all simply have the passion and dedication for your pets best interests.

Although I have always been happy with Mead Vet, I have to give special recognition to Mikey who runs the front desk mainly. I seriously can’t say enough good things. To me, Mikey has become such a valuable staple to Mead Vets team, being the first and last impression you get at your visit. We should all know how taxing the vet industry can be, yet even on a bad day, Mikey ALWAYS welcomes his clients with a positive attitude and smile. And he never fails to say hello to your pets and even remembers small details about them. He always go above and beyond in making personal relationships with all of the clients and pets who walk through the doors. I own a boarding kennel which means I have had many interactions with many different vets in the area. I have NEVER been to a vet where we have been greeted with the same love and care. It’s the small things that really go a long way. He is also always SO helpful and knowledgeable. If I ever call and have a quick question he is always able to help me right then instead of taking a note to ask someone else and getting back in 3-5 business days. It is so refreshing to see someone who is so passionate and just good at their job.

I can’t believe I’ve never left a review for this vet. In a world where we are quick to bash and point out any inconvenience in a review I’m taking the time to do anything but that!! This has been our primary vet for at least 15 years (hopefully my math is mathing) we have gone here since they opened maybe it’s 16 years. They helped our reactive dog in all her care and meds till she crossed the rainbow bridge! Now they help us with Walter and Darla two Boston terriers with basic wellness to all the unknowns being a pet owner brings. It’s with our heartfelt gratitude for not just exceptional care but consistency. Yes staff has changed that’s life but the standards never have from Dr. Andrews, Bobbi Jo, Sam and all the other amazing techs to Mikey who no matter how busy the front is handles everything with respect! We have fallen in love with Dr. Joseph since she joined with her calmness she brings to visits and the matched wealth of knowledge. My favorite part is Dr. Andrews honesty is always a priority if it’s a big deal there’s options if it’s not a big deal there’s options and never hesitates to talk the options through for what’s best. All of this staffs kindness, compassion, and expertise are truly impressive, and I feel so grateful to have found a veterinary team that truly cares about our dogs.
This staff goes above and beyond to ensure that the best possible care will be provided, pricing is fair, and has never pushed us to do anything even when we come in with hard situations and bring emotions. Ohhh and I can bring the tears sometimes (sorry haha). Your attention to detail, patience, and ability to answer all our questions will always be invaluable. I take pride in our dogs health and well being and we are the best owners we can be from the wealth of information and all you have taught us over the years. Thank you Mead Vet

So glad I decided to switch my dog to this vet! Our last one was fine but 45 minutes away. This vet is only 15 minutes away and amazing!

Mikey is great, probably the best person to have as a receptionist! The rest of the staff is also super friendly and very sweet!

We were in and out within 30 minutes.

There was a little welcome gift that I appreciate also, these are my kind of people.

I am so impressed with Dr Joseph and staff. Not only do they listen and do a great consultation for your pet but they actually care compared to other vet clinics where you feel like it is a high volume environment and you are just a number. They also called me a day later to check up on my pet. It really does mean a lot! Most other vets you don’t get a call anymore or you get a canned email from their CRM. I was referred here by my neighbor who loved this clinic and now I know why. Thank you so much for being great doctors and human beings!! ❤️

If i could rate The Mead Vet negative stars I would. YOUR PETS ARE NOT SAFE HERE!!! I had my dog looked at here for a bloody nose and some swelling in her eye. The Dr diagnosed her with lupus saying the swelling was from infection. 2ish weeks later, her eye was way more swollen, and her nose was bleeding so much it was clogging even after the treatments. Took her back, and they took blood with a concern of cancer. The blood test came back regular with some elevated levels (looked this up and a lot of these levels could be higher with the steroid she was prescribed). My poor girls eye was still getting more and more swollen each day and after over $500 into the whole process the Dr (who took his time even reaching back out to me because “he sees nothing alarming in the results of the blood test”) said he wanted to do an ultrasound on her liver to test these “higher levels” and to look for signs of an “aging liver” (ignoring the eye and bloody nose which were my main concern) plus another blood test which would have brought the total spent there up to over $1200. Angry that my pups eye was so swollen and her nose was bleeding and things were getting so bad she couldn't breathe and this guy wanted to look at her liver I decided to take her to CSU. After 2 days and a CT scan, we had the results. A massive cancerous tumor had grown from the tip of her snout into her brain and was shoving her eye out. The Mead Vet took advantage of me, grabbing every cent they could at the expense of my poor dog. Whom after a 3-4 week runaround giving meds to my dog for lupus which was not even close to the right call, she had to be put to sleep because she was in immense pain and struggling to breathe with no viable treatment methods just things that would only hurt her her in the long run, but buy me more time with her. I will NEVER use them again and recommend you don't either.

Good experience for our first visit, which was for a rabies vaccination. I was a bit surprised to also be charged for an adult cat wellness exam, but didn't think it was too unreasonable since the vet wasn't familiar with us. Dr. Andrews and his staff are very approachable and easy to talk to. I didn't feel rushed through the appointment. We'll be back!
