My personal testimony is that Melanie has literally been an angel sent to my home. Not only did she gently start by trimming my somewhat anxious dog in the comfort of our own home, but I credit her for probably saving my cats life as well (she trims Penny Blossom’s ?‍⬛? nails as well). Melanie doesn’t just come, do her job, and leave…I mean I guess unless you want her to. Lol
Melanie has compassion and genuine concern for her clients and their pets. She asks how they are doing and she means it.
One day I was describing a couple weird things that were happening to my 11 month old newly adopted cat. She guided me to seek vet care immediately and giving me suggestions to help the vet diagnose (like taking a video of what was happening when it was happening) and she kindly checked in on us along the way. That was very comforting because I was worried I was about to have to put down my new family member!
My cat was diagnosed relatively quickly with Heartworm Disease (rare in cats) and asthma because of Melanie’s guidance. This all happened during quarantine and the vet wanted me to administer the first inhaler dose. I had no clue what I was doing!! I was so scared to do it on my own! Melanie made a point to come to our home and administer Penny Blossom’s first inhaler dose, teaching me how to do it, and giving me so many tips to help us succeed in getting Penny Blossom to not just take the inhaler, but to accept the inhaler. She’s given me tips on how to get Penny Blossom to willingly take her Heartworm medication and flea/tick control as well, without having to force it down her throat as I previously had to do.
3 years on and my girl has outlived the Heartworms and her asthma is completely under control. She looks forward to her inhaler every day and runs to come get it when she hears me shaking the inhaler to get ready. My extremely shy Penny Blossom ?‍⬛? has even starting forming a bond with Melanie! I’m so happy to see this because she is petrified of people!
Of course my dog, Cal, and I are always happy to see Melanie’s kind face as well!
I’m sorry that was so long but I wanted you all to know that Melanie is not “just a nail trimmer…” she can be an amazing asset your family, helping to creating a comfortable and loving life for our pets, who aren’t here long enough.

Melanie is very caring, prompt and professional. She is well versed and educated in all aspects of animal/pet care, techniques and trends. We love the convenience of her coming to our home, so all of our pets can be taken care of on the same day and without the stress of traveling to a groomer or Vet's office. Melanie provides a much needed service . She is professional and caring. If your dog or cat needs their nails trimmed and it is difficult for you to do it call Melanie. We were having a great deal of difficulty cutting our two large cats nails. We called Melanie and are glad we did. Definitely a 5 star service.
