If I could give a 0 I would. I had followed Dr A. From Banfield vet hospital. I visited for a new puppy visit back in 2022. The visit was less than 10 minutes and I was horrified. I am finally writing the Google review after all this time because I called my pet insurance on a claim that was rejected. It all goes back to the 1 ten minute appt I had there and never went back. They entered a chronic condition into his profile- which was obviously not correct.
Also, Dr. A made a recommendation prior to that on a cat we had with a sore on its arm to be put down and we listened. The cat never had rabies when results came back . We loved that cat.

Dr. Augusto and his staff was amazing. My cat got into a scuffle with a racoon on a Sunday, so I had to bring her to PetMedic Urgent Care in Westborough. They put a splint, cast and cone on my girl and said she would have to keep it on for 4 weeks (it was painful to watch her and didn't think we could live through this for a month). On Monday I called Milford Animal Hospital to make a follow up appointment on Wednesday. Dr. Augusto and his team were very attentive and compassionate. Dr. Augusto immediately took to the cast, splint and cone off which was such a relief. I don't think my cat would have healed as quickly with a cast and cone (and it would have been torture for her and us). She has healed naturally and quickly thanks to the team at Milford Animal Hospital. I am so thankful! I highly recommend Milford Animal Hospital and Dr. Augusto.

I brought my kitten in as he was itching at his ears. They gave him Tresaderm and Revolution to treat him for ear mites and yeast in his ears. They didn’t swab his ears to check whether it was ear mites or yeast which I didn’t understand. I brought him in again a few weeks later as his ears didn’t get better. When I went in the table was dirty with tuffs of fur/hair from a previous animal and my instinct was to wipe it with my hand before they put my kitten down on the table (I knew nothing about ringworm previously). I would expect the table to be cleaned between every appointment. A few weeks later I noticed an itchy spot on my face and scabs on my kittens face and body and my other cats face. After I did some research I discovered it was ringworm that my kitten and I had contracted from the vet and spread to my other cat. Both of my cats are indoor cats so they wouldn’t of contracted it anywhere else. I called the vet and left a message asking if I could come in and get medication for the ringworm, because it goes straight to voicemail every time you call and you have to wait for a call back which is frustrating, and I never received a call back. I went to a new vet who confirmed the ringworm. I had to give my cats oral medicine for weeks and multiple baths and it took months to get rid of the ringworm in them. I still have it as I am pregnant and can’t take the oral medicine. It has been a very stressful situation that could of been avoided if they cleaned their exam rooms between every appointment. They also let one or two dogs free roam the office including going into exam rooms because they don’t close the door when seeing your pet. Also, you do not get greeted by the vet techs when you walk in and they are not very friendly in general. I would not recommend this vet to anyone. Also want to add my kittens ear problem is still not solved and the new vet swabbed his ear and it’s yeast so we are working through that.
