We got excellent care and advise by Dr. Smith and her staff today! She was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and gentle with my dogs. One is a very anxious new rescue, and he was so at ease with her. Upon arrival there was a small but reactive dog and they immediately let me into an exam room before my dogs really noticed. I really appreciate that type of attention and will definitely be going back. There was also no upselling of services I didn’t need which is absolutely appreciated.

This place is incredible! I brought my cat here this morning and I am overwhelmed with emotion. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and the doctor sat with me and answered all of my questions and gave me thorough, concise, and useful information. To top it off everyone was so friendly to my cat and called him handsome! They also didn’t try and overcharge me especially when I’m in a stressful situation. I cannot thank them enough. I left well informed and feeling like everything was going to be okay. Thank you so much to everyone at the medical center today. I appreciate you guys so much!

I visited Monrovia Animal Medical Center for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of care my dog received. It was a walk in urgent visit with no appointment and we were seen immediately. The nurse that examined him first was so compassionate and explained everything very well.
The Veterinarian that came in after was thorough, patient, and answered all our questions before we could even ask them. They promptly figured out what was wrong with my dog, and provided a treatment plan. I am so happy we found this place on Google. We will be changing to this Veterinarian for his ongoing care. This vet has been absolutely wonderful for my cat and I, and if you find yourself looking for skilled medical professionals to help you and your pet (outside of the soulless corporate chain option that dominates much of the veterinary world), I highly recommend this place.

I also was very happy that they clearly explain pricing with me and if something is too much, it is for discussion or 'my' decision to remove it.

I have never felt bullied into having to pay a bill where I didn't even understand what I was paying for.

I've been to the Monrovia Animal Medical Center what feels like 20 times in the last year to bring 3 different animals, two ancient teenage dogs and one puppy who's currently 5 months old.

The two veterinarians who've seen my dogs here are both hands down the best vets I've ever had. I've been to a lot of vets who you feel like barely glance at your pet before sending you on your way with a prescription. That has never been my experience here. Both vets I've met have spent so much time with my dogs and me, they're thorough to a level you couldn't even hope to get with a human doctor

Everyone I've interacted with here is friendly and puts you at ease, but what really matters is that they're good at what they do, and they are. I highly recommend you give them a shot

My 13 year old rescue cat had dental surgery yesterday. His teeth were perfectly cleaned of tartar. Big Boy had one cavity
& another root correction. Every detail of the surgery was a success....& he recovered 100% within one day before outdoor
activity resumed today. This is my 2nd visit, recommended highly
by Laura Jacobson of The Cats Pajama in Pasadena. The
quality care was worth the 15 + minute drive from Arcadia.
With a shortage of vets and retirement of established vets
or long local waits.....Dr. Smith and her professional staff
was a smart find. Applause !

They were able to let me book an appointment same day. Their rates were reasonable. The vet was knowledgeable and didn’t rush in taking time to assess my dog. The staff were nice with processing my requests. Will be coming back.

Dr. Smith and the staff were terrific. We were stressed because my cat beat his way out of the carrier (that makes #4). They helped get him into an alternative carrier and made a funny event out of what could have been more stressful, to say the least.
