Everyone here is professional, kind and calm. I have seen several vets and vet techs over the years and I have liked all of them. Sometimes there is a wait time that seems a little too long, but take a breath and be happy you have a good vet to look after your pet.

I was able to get an appointment for our elderly kitty, Max, within a few weeks of calling. The staff is uniformly excellent, and his new doctor clearly knows what there is to know about cats; they are absolutely not dogs, and require an entirely different skill set. So glad to have found Max the right vet in our new 'hood!

I’ve been w this vet thru 6 of my pets … after covid and dr Patrick retirement this is in no way a place to bring your loved fur babies .. takes way to long for an appointment .. and their confirmation emails are rude and so is their phone system .. don’t know if they realize their prices are way high and there are other options that actually act like they care .. boo on Patrick retiring cuz he was awesome … do not recommend

The lady at the front desk was extremely unpleasant and unwelcoming. The sweet lady that brought my dog back was the only friendly person I spoke to. People bring their dogs in for things that can be emotionally hard, it would be helpful to have more nurturing and friendly staff.

My dog Maya was a long time patient with doctor grant Patrick's office at montecito. Veterinary, she was in critical condition. I called them to schedule a euthanasia appointment. I was told there was no doctor there. This whole weekend or next weekend for that matter? And there was nothing they could do for me.They could refer me to someone. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do was call to have. My dog put down. She'd been with me for fourteen years, and was my best friend in life . Luckily I found a mobile vet. She was the most caring compassionate person. I've ever met and actually I am so happy that I found her. I know there is no way .The veterinary hospital would have been there for me like she was for me. I just can't believe that it took my dog only 7 minutes to pass with just an injection. That's all they would have had to have done for me, is give her an injection and get her out of her pain, but they could not do that. I am so disappointed and this is not the first time it has happened. It also happened to a friend of mine. Where they would not get her dogs in on their last breaths. Shame on you Dr Grant Patrick ! Do not use this vet thay only care about your money not your life companion

They were recommended by the breeder. Dr Diehl is gentle and understanding. He was able to perform a procedure requiring anesthesia at moment of visit. My mini poodle had a baby tooth that never fell out. As a result of the two incisors butted up together, there was staining so he removed the tooth leaving the adult one and they cleaned her teeth. Price was very reasonable.
We would've had to wait months for this type of appointment elsewhere AND a dental vet would be called to do it.

VERY VERY happy and I left there with peace of mind.

Dr Diehl is the best - I moved here from Florida and he was the doctor who took care of my Sophie the Pom - when she passed away unexpectedly last year he showed such compassion for my loss. I got a new Pom - Princess and I went in for her annual check up and I told him our sweet German Shepherd Storm passed away last Friday. He was so sympathetic and kind once again about our loss. Dr Diehl really cares and that’s so much appreciated when you are hurting over the loss of your fur baby. He is my go to doctor. His entire staff is great - so sweet and friendly. I highly recommend Montecito Veterinary Center!
