Dr Grech is the wonderful. Our baby recently had an emergency and had to be hospitalized elsewhere. I emailed Dr Grech, as she is our primary vet, and she called me back herself. Took a lot of time on the phone to discuss and advise. They truly care about their patients. Very happy we have them.

I’m not one to normally leave a review, but I think Montgomery Animal Hospital deserves this feedback.

I had brought my oldest cat (4 years old) to Dr. Grech after a recommendation. His first visit was in 2024 and second July 2025.

My cat is very anxious, he always has been. He’s also not very affectionate, he is in his own way. This last visit he wanted me to pick him up, sit in my lap, and constantly needing me to touch him to feel comfortable. Which is just how he always has been when out of the house.

As the assistant holds him down he is now getting more worked up and doesn’t want to be touched. He’s not violent whatsoever. Dr. Grech asked my cat a question (as if he can answer) which I found uncalled for, rude, and what I would think any average person would take offensively. While trying to listen with her stethoscope on his belly he was jumpy and doesn’t want to be touched on his stomach. Which if you have a cat you’d probably know they are protective of their underside.

Her exact words were “why don’t you want me to touch you here buddy? What’s going on at home that you don’t want me to touch you here”

To hear Dr. Grech come up with such a wild accusation without knowing me, my family, my cat for more than 30 minutes is crazy. I’m paying to help take care of my animal I love. I would NEVER abuse him.

If my cat was being abused at home, why would he come to me the entirety of the visit for comfort? Why would I even spend the time or money at the vet? Why would I spend hundred on prescriptions and imaging for his heart?

With this being said I believe they are good Drs. But not very personable. I honestly cannot believe I would hear such an inappropriate thing said in an office of professionalism and care.

While considering a new vet for my fur babies I ran across a Facebook post about Montgomery Veterinary Hospital. I decided to make an appointment for my 2 yorkie girls, Fendi & Dior. I was a little uneasy, as one of my girls was expecting. However, I immediately felt comfortable with the staff, they were welcoming and friendly. When Dr. Grech came in to take a look at my babies, she was wonderful. She was thorough, informative, helpful, non-judgemental (which was big for me) and KIND. She eased my anxiety over the situation. Her staff reached out after to check on my baby girl and when I called with questions, she answered my concerns. All in all a wonderful experience and I have definitely found our new Vet. I would recommend them 1000 times over.

Dr. Happen was wonderful with our fur baby, Toby! She's compassionate and very informative! Dr. Gretch has a great partner for her practice!!!❤️🐾🫶As of 12/27/2024, based on a Well visit for Toby, our fur baby, once again, Dr Grech-Attard, and her staff are awesome! They're compassionate and informative, each step of the way! I've passed on her practice to several friends, and would continue in a heart beat!❤️🐾🫶

I've been bringing my pups there for the last 3-4 years. Gretel and Maverick love all the staff and the attention they get. A significant improvement from where I was going. So much more attention to detail and making the pups comfortable. Also I never feel rushed and they listen to your concerns.

I discovered Montgomery Veterinary Hospital when my other vet ( who I was less and less happy with) went on vacation and recommended Dr Grech. I never looked back. She was more personable with my cat than the other vet ever was. She took the time to explain things and gave me options ( I’m on a limited budget). She’s helped train my dog and helped me through his health issues. I trust her implicitly. Everyone who works there is clearly an animal lover and goes above and beyond to make them comfortable. I couldn’t ask for more.

We have been using Montgomery Veterinary Hospital for years. We are on Dog number five and we wouldn’t trust anyone else with our baby Mollie. They are kind and understanding. The service is always what we expect. I can’t say enough good things about all of the staff. They are the best.

I cannot say enough about this vet hospital! All of the staff are caring and compassionate to me as well as to my dogs. Dr. Gretch cared for my dog Daisy who was chronically ill with compassion, honesty and educated me on what was happening at every step. My second dog, Remi needed an amputation and Dr. Gretch did a beautiful job with his surgery. I will never go to another vet. This office is honest, compassionate and I have learned how to be a better pet parent with their care.💜
