My little boy broke his femur from a freak accident. Dr. Teeples and his team went above any beyond to help my son. They got him stabilized enough to be transported via life flight and let me be with my little boy every step of the way. This hospital, their nurses and doctors are great!

The treatment can be awful. I’ve had some bad experiences. I had a severe reaction to medication. Once my doctor went off call she phoned the incoming doctor and explained the situation. That doctor never came into my room and let the nurse call the shots. They released me and said it’s going to be a rough night good luck. This hospital, except for a few nurses and one or two helpful doctors they have zero empathy. It’s worth the longer drive to another hospital. The administrator has no experience in that job and it shows.

Treatment of patients can be kind of hit or miss. For example, I once came in the emergency room a few years ago and even though it wasn't busy and I was in extreme pain, I ended up leaving with less Ibuprofen in my system than I could have taken at home and no further treatment. (I did get a diagnoses though.) Now since this wasn't a life threatening experientce, I understand not being in the room with me the whole time. But back then, I was only checked like 2-3 times over the course of several hours and am pretty sure I had to go get my own barf bag. I'm still quite annoyed they didn't at least give me proper pain medication for one of the worst experiences of my life. However, I went to the emergency room again a few months ago and had much better treatment and a lot more check-ins. Outside of E.R. treatment though, they have at least one blood-drawing... lab tech? Is that the term? Who is very good at their job. My family is infamous for being basically impossible to find veins on, but she does an excellent job at locating and not missing when she pokes you. As someone with a mild-moderate phobia of needles on top of hard to find/hit veins, this is an incredible relief every time I need blood drawn. The ladies at the front desk are also always very courteous and polite to me too. Overall, it's not a terrible place but it could be better at times. Its certainly better than many places I've heard of in the past. It's probably a better experience with scheduled appointments rather than things like E.R. visits, but to be fair that allows for more planning and resources I guess. Anyways, I'm rambling. The staff for the Hospital, Long Term Care, and Home Health are so dedicated to their patients. My family was the recipient of this care a couple of years ago when my father ended up passing away from an acute illness. We spent several weeks in other facilities and it was so nice to come home to the hometown care given by the staff to patients they truly love and know.

We are very lucky to have such a wonderful hospital, clinic, Long term care, Home Health, and Physical Therapy in our community. The staff are not only professional they are very personable. You can tell they truly care about their patients. I am proud to say I have used their services multiple times in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

When I had to life flight my 3 year old son. Staff were well trained and helped keep us in a professional manner. They saved his life that day. This hospital has served my family well and truly have saved lives. For being such a small facility the knowledge and professionalism is outstanding. Thanks for serving our community.

As one of Malad Valleys founding fathers I'm not mad at the entire executive team of Nell J Redfield Memorial. I am just disappointed that you John, Cindy, Tyson, and Alicia gave such high reviews in contrast to negative reviews from people who are not employed there. Of course you all get excellent care there......you are the bosses.

I underwent six months of outpatient chemotherapy in this facility and had all my follow-up procedures and oncology visits here. Just hit my five year cancer free mark. I'm very grateful for all the wonderful people and caregivers here!
