This has nothing to do with your services except a hospital should include longer hours. That would be the same as going to a reg hospital for people but sorry the ER is closed till morning. We had to drive our border collie clear to Dayton for a midnight emergency and yes she had to be put down an hour after that due to an undiagnosed cancer. So will you be offering longer hours?

My cat received good care the one or two times he was seen here, but when we had an emergency, the front desk bluntly said they're busy and take him somewhere else. So we are no longer taking our cats here anymore.

We've been using this vet for years, 10+ and we've had some good experiences or obviously we wouldn't have stayed that long. Just recently the care went down, the main vet is hardly in and the staff is less than desired. We've seen so many employees come and go. It seems its hard to keep help there. We've seen a huge downgrade in the care our furbabies have received. A care plan was set for our old guy who has seizures, he was comfortable with one tech and we knew there would be zero issues. Main vet was on board with that, even made a note in his chart. Then the stories started to flip.
Our last draw was when our bully breed was muzzled for no apparent reason, then taken out of the room away from us. Was never told what was wrong with him, but here give him these ear drops but if his ear drum is busted he could go deaf.
Talked to the main vet about the situation and issues and of course stories didn't match because staff isn't going to state facts. Next day I received an email from Jodi herself, it was very very unprofessional and I didn't even feed into it because we had done walked away from that office and found a new vet that does amazing with bully breeds.
Newark Veterinary Hospital could do better but yet here they are. So many getting fooled because you don't know what really happens there. Past employees will state facts on how the office is ran. You don't use a vet for over 10 years and then leave because the care is amazing.
Feel free to find me on fb and I'll glady share the email to anyone who doubts what this office is capable of.

My little gentleman had never been to the vet before so he went in for a wellness check and to have an abscess checked. From making the appointment to the time we left, everyone I spoke to or interacted with was kind and helpful. I felt everything was reasonably priced and that everything I would be charged for was explained well. My boy isn’t a huge fan of being away from mama, but he was such a good boy for Dr. Houser, which assures me he felt safe while I waited for him out in the car. COVID curbside appointments aren’t ideal, but this fur mama felt her boy was in good hands every minute he was away. I definitely recommend Newark Veterinary Hospital!

Very caring staff, my dog became very ill and they were able to see him the same day. After learning the severity of the disease the vet was very professional and yet compassionate when the time finally came for him to cross the rainbow bridge. She even sent a hand written card expressing her condolences. Thank you, Dr. Jodi H. and staff.
