Great place!! Staff are so kind, compassionate and always make you feel like your dogs are their favorites! lol They see you on time and are very thorough with their exams! Highly recommend! They were amazing when our sweet dog Shiloh was hit by a car and they helped get her stable and ready to transfer to an emergency hospital. She unfortunately did not make it through the night but North Powers was SO sweet and caring and empathetic with us that night!

This clinic has been amazing for me and especially Dr. Jenna Markel who took such good care of my chinchillas. She is compassionate, caring, and made every experience easy and welcoming.

I moved and miss the team at this clinic incredibly. They have always taken the utmost care to ensure quality and compassion with every visit.

I ended up going to NPAH several times over the course of a year with my middle aged bulldog and young cat. I unfortunately always had a hard time being happy with the service at this clinic.
To start, I was always having to wait past my appointment time to even get put into a room from the lobby. And to add to that, once I was in the room I would end up spending approximately 1.5-2hrs in the clinic for what should be a maximum one hour visit enter to exit. I know every clinic works differently but being a previous technician myself, I should not be spending 2 hours in your clinic for standard appointments. On one particular visit, we decided to get bloodwork done on our bulldog, we were waiting for results and I ended up having to go out to the reception to ask them to find the nurse/doctor to see what the hold up was- this was after 30-45 minutes (when they told us it would be done in a much shorter time). They informed me that the doctor had to go into an emergency, which I understand, but there was ZERO communication while we were just sitting in the room.
Another issue I had with this clinic is the fact that they do not do their exams on the room. Their reasoning is that the pet is less stressed if the exam is done in the back treatment area. I completely disagree with this and that should be on a pet by pet basis, not an umbrella statement. My bigger issue with this is that if you ask them to do an exam in the room, they basically refuse to accommodate you, depending on the doctor! I was told on more than one occasion, “I’ll ask but I can’t guarantee it because our equipment is in the back”. My first visit, Dr. Peters had no issue performing the exams in the room.
Another problem I had is that it always seemed like the nurses were trying push estimates on you before even talking to a doctor. I’m not going to agree to diagnostics without having spoken to a doctor first.

And lastly, I’m not sure if the clinic has any in-house diagnostics for fecal analysis in particular but when my bulldog was very ill, I would have liked same-day answers instead of having to wait 2 days. Not necessarily the clinic’s fault, just a downside for me as a client.

I did get to work with Dr. Peters and Leinberger and they were both great. The only reason for 2 over 1 star. I have since taken my pets elsewhere.

Definitely avoid this place!!! I took my puppy in because I thought he had worms, and not only was the medicine/visit expensive, but the vet was telling me that he needed to have all these elective surgeries, such as removing his little hernia and having a gastropexy when he got a little older. They also took him in the back "to see the other dogs" even though he was sick. That was absolutely mind-boggling to me.

I started going to Healthy Pets Animal Hospital in Fountain following that experience, and it's wonderful! Great prices and friendly, knowledgeable staff! Dr. Junge is wonderful!!

Used to go to this veterinarian for many years as we thought so highly of the veterinarians at this clinic. Went downhill the last few years. Can never get an appointment.. clinic is too busy. Numerous times they failed to follow up or return calls about results of urine or stool tests. Recommended a dog food that caused intestinal issues for my pup and was later recalled. Last straw was they overdosed our dog on a medication and he has permanent damage now. Still charged us for that "service".

They got us in quickly and Dr. Markle was very knowledgeable about our new chameleon. The staff was friendly and helpful from the time we called to make an appointment until we completed our visit today. We are looking forward to our next appointment!

We had an emergency with our dog and were given an immediate appointment. Apparently, our pup, who had low grade heart disease, was not doing well in the higher elevation. Dr. J was amazing. She took plenty of time with us to explain what was going on and put her on some meds to get her through our visit with hopes she would improve some once we are back to lower elevation. We had a follow-up a week later, and when she hadn't improved enough, she gave us another med that has worked. She is almost back to her normal self, and now we are leaving the area, so we hope she will continue to do better.

One of the best animal hospitals I have been too. DR. Welfare is a gem! I was so fortunate he took care of my baby and her babies!
