This will be the only Veterinary Clinic i use from now on. The Dr's, Veterinary Techs, and front desk staff are some of the nicest people you will meet. They treat you or your pet with kindness and understanding. It's not all about making money like most places. Their prices are well below what most Veterinary Clinics charge. My Oscar will be having a surgery in February that costs half of what other vets were wanting to charge me. I will forever be grateful to the Northshore Humane Society because without them, my Oscar wouldn't be getting to have his surgery done. I highly recommend using their Veterinary Clinic. Also, they have some precious babies who could use loving forever homes ❤️

After my 16 yr old adopted dog from the St Tammany Humane Society back in 2009 (black Lab / Shepard mix) passed away recently, I had to adopt another dog. This time a yellow lab / Huskie mix & I couldn’t be any happier, although my new puppy has some big shoes to fill after Jax, my previous adopted dog. Everything from the start of the adoption process to the spaying of her went flawlessly. Maggie the volunteer assisting me in my adoption was wonderful & calmed my fears of adopting again at a later stage in my life. I was very pleased & have always taken my dogs there for their shots and/or emergency’s. I gave them 5 star service! Attached is my new puppy Camille & the old man Jax, both adopted from the St Tammany humane Society.

A wonderful place to adopt a new forever companion! My fiancé and I adopted one of the most wonderful dogs from here and have had no regrets at all about our decision. She is just amazing! We look forward to many years napping together on big pillows with our sweet cuddle bug! I would highly recommend adopting from here. 🩷

i want to start this off by saying thank you to the wonderful ladies in the adoption center here that helped me pick out my dream dog a while back, everything about that process was smooth and wonderful and i will never not recommend adopting from here. with that being said, if you adopted a dog from here as well, then you know you get 10% off of vet care.
i’m here to tell you that if you are looking for kind and compassionate care from the vet staff, you won’t get it here. i’ve been bringing my dog here for the vaccine specials as i’m sure many others have. every experience i’ve ever had has been horrible, i have met one sweet vet tech here and the rest are all miserable. in the past, i recommended the vaccine specials to a family member with a new puppy only for me to leave feeling extremely embarrassed for how they treated her and profusely apologizing.
we brought our dog in for vaccines and bloodwork this year and the vet came back into our room clearly extremely agitated with my dog who literally doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body (coming from a dog groomer so i am familiar with anxious and aggressive pets) and prescribed her OVER the max dosage of trazadone for her weight. i dont mind trazadone, i understand its necessary in her situation. but the dosage my dog was given along with the lack of explanation and attitude from the vet and vet staff is enough to make me leave.
all to say, if you can manage to eat the discount and go to different vet, do it, i wish i’d done it sooner bc everyone i’ve talked to seems to have had the same experiences here.

Our first visit was last Saturday 9/23 with our new puppy. Pleasant visit; knowledgeable staff. Will return for both of my pets needs.

Update! We finished our 3 new puppy visits. Dr. Greely is awesome! All of your staff are wonderful, and treat our baby (Reese) like their own! Thank you for all that you do!

We’ve had a decent experience here for decades, up to this year. I brought my cat yesterday for her yearly and the experience was terrible.

We were in 2 minutes & tech NEVER removed her from her carrier, nor asked questions, just went to another room with carrier. 1 minute later, came back and said it’s done. Suspicious…. Didn’t even see the vet.

The tech complained that our cat was upset (duh! Of course!), just an excuse to refuse trimming her nails. All they wanted to do is upsale services. It’s become a scam. Stay away.

The best humane society I’ve ever experienced! I adopted my dog and was also able to receive vet care from their clinic. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to adopt!
