They are very understanding and caring when it comes to my dogs care! Have three dogs is hard in it’s self but coming into the clinic they make it as easy as possible! Especially for an over excited puppy!

My family and I have been going to Oaklandon Family Vet for at least 15 years. Even after my siblings and I moved out, we continued to take our own pets there because of the kind and caring staff, how they make you feel like family, and the quality of care. I love going to Oaklandon Family Vet. They are so loving and kind to my fur babies. Dr. Taylor always sits on the floor with my babies and gives each of them treats until they are comfortable. Then, the exam begins. I would highly recommend them.

Best vet I've ever used... hands down. When dr. Rheuteman was there it was Affordable, honest, and down to earth. They let me go back in the back to get exrays with a dog that was an anxiety biter. They don't take your dog to a back room and do shots like other vets. They don't try to sell you unnecessary services. I'm 40 years old, have had dogs my whole life and lived in many cities and states. I miss this place since I've moved away.

They saved my dogs life today when I was completely helpless and thought there was no way of getting her help. Thank you guys so much!! They were also very thorough, went above and beyond and I haven’t been to a better vet. I live almost an hour away, but I will be making the drive to make this my permanent vet!

Update: after Christmas my boy got a hold of a ham bone aland he had shards in his belly the emergency vet was charging, about$3k a night and when I called my vet to see if they could take him so he could stay somewhere else.. They were like sorry..no can do..we eventually ran out of money and he died on the 3 Rd day. Looking forward finally to having a pet again.. Will get. Home a new vet

I don’t think I have the vocabulary to accurately articulate how grateful I am for Oaklandon Family Vet. They saw my little old dog very last minute. They broke things down in easy to understand terminology. They helped ease our tension and it felt like we were talking to friends. They treated our dog like their own. They have made a forever client and I would recommend them to anyone. I’m so grateful to have such wonderful vets and vet techs so close by. Massive shout out to Dr. Taylor.
