1st time cat owner here. We brought the mother of a kitten who chose us by showing up one day with it to this Vet to get spayed. During the intake, questioning, follow up, and even for emergency phone calls when we were nervous about behavior the vet tech joselyn remained calm, professional and positive. Now this is our primary vet for our mom cat and her baby! Highly recommend!

Overall, the staff members were kind and informative on how to take care of my rabbit as she grows older. It was also nice of them to follow up with to ensure I take proper step on setting the next appointment.

I transferred my three cats to this vet because we moved, and I can’t believe how expensive everything is for the sub par service. $114 for a scheduled check up during which to every question I had I got an answer “that would be a great question for your internal medicine specialist” (I told them that I had an appt scheduled) or “oh yeah, that might be the case”. So I learned nothing. $35 extra for blood pressure? Ridiculous.
And then I wanted to schedule yearly vaccinations for my two cats and was told that I’d have to do an initial check up, which is fine with me, but it’s $120 something? When I asked what’s the difference between the first check up and a recheck, they weren’t able to tell me the difference, just that one is 114 and the other one is 120. Why?
The vaccines weren’t outrageously expensive but still the most expensive that I’ve seen, and I called multiple vets in the area.
I just ended up going back to our old vet that charges an appropriate amount of $30 for a recheck and $85 for emergency walk in, has always been able to help us diagnose our cats, knows his stuff, and his office is pristine. And doesn’t charge us $500 for two cats’ vaccinations.

Absolutely amazing staff, from Elsa to the front desk,to the doctors, Dr. Boyd and Dr. Cupka. They helped save my cat who was ran over and he LIVES! Wasn’t expecting a miracle healing back to what seems like full health, but without this team it wouldn’t have been possible. Maverick thanks you all, Meow Meow!

Saying goodbye to our big senior boy Chewy was one of the most difficult and painful decisions we've ever made, but the staff at Oakridge Veterinary Clinic were very kind, professional and attentive throughout the process. They showed genuine care and gave our good boy extra pets and hugs, thank you!

We love this clinic! Always helpful, efficient, and most of all kind. Happy with each of the vets that we’ve seen so never a concern with who we see for appts. Office staff is smiling and welcoming. Great place for pets and their owners!

THIS IS THE ONE!

As a busy dog dad, I stumbled upon this clinic by chance. Here is my story. I was googling for veterinary because I had to get some last-minute checkups for pet insurance. I called many veterinarians in the San Jose area, and they were booked months out. I was able to secure an appointment on Friday after July 4th. The veterinary clinic informed me that it was a pet drop-off. I have never experienced a pet drop-off before. Usually, I had to wait.

When I got there, I had to fill out some paperwork/info. Once completed, I turned over my pet. I went to the gym, ran my errands, and basically did whatever I needed. They called me to inform me of the procedures and made recommendations. They told me of an approximate time to pick up my dog. I came, paid my dog bill, and scheduled a follow-up shot appointment.

Later, I got an email about a pet app that had all my pet records uploaded. I could download it to my iPhone. It was streamlined and a great experience. Although the bill is high, I have no complaint since I have pet insurance to offset it; however, most importantly, having a pet is a huge responsibility and a luxury that you can't go cheap on, especially health.
