Last night I brought my beautiful girl Angel to Oaks Urgent Care. Angel is around 13 years old with a history of various health problems. My primary vet hospital was closed so I was referred to Oaks Urgent Care. I was so relieved when I found out that one of the doctors on staff has been caring for my pets for years. After understanding the severity of Angels condition, I knew in my heart it was time to say goodbye to my sweet little girl that had been an absolute Joy. Dr. Kohltfarber and the entire staff were very caring and compassionate. The office is beautiful and gives calming zen vibes. I could not be more grateful to Dr. Kohltfarber, the office manager and staff for thier kindness, generosity and support. I highly recommend this office for anyone in need of knowledgeable, compassionate healthcare for your pets. Joy Haley

Last night I had to take my cat to Oaks Vet Urgent care because he was in excruciating pain. The clinic is beautiful and spa-like. The vet tech, Carly, was kind and sweet and the vet, Dr. Karen, was extremely compassionate and down-to-earth. They did everything possible to manage and treat my cat’s pain, as well as my own worry and anxiety.

These veterinarians show great kindness to pet parents and compassionate care to pets. I have been there several times for urgent care and it was excellent. I also needed to help my dog cross the rainbow bridge and Dr Darcy was the best and helped us both.

This facility is top notch and the best staff who are knowledgeable and the equipment to diagnose and treat your canine fury baby. They literally saved our German Shepherds life. McKenna is alive today because of their lifesaving treatment.

She all of a sudden was lethargic and not well, which was very unusual. We called to check in and let them know we were 30-minutes out. When we arrived, late afternoon on July 4th, they were open and staffed to treat her. She was seen very quick and it was determined she was in critical condition. After a few quick diagnostic tests, it was determined that she had internal bleeding from a ruptured spleen. They had a surgeon in-house and we approved the surgery, and any care needed to save our GSD’s life. A few hours later, she was out of surgery, but still in critical condition.

They contacted a 24-hour veterinary hospital and set-up the paperwork so we could transport her for follow up care. We have Trupanion Pet Insurance and they contacted them directly for the authorization. We paid our 10% and Trupanion paid Oaks directly for the needed services. No problems with the pre-authorization for the procedure and the hospital care. If you do not have pet insurance, you need it right now! Trupanion is not inexpensive, but they did not blink at the almost $8K bill, and the additional $7K hospital bill. The cost of the insurance is minimal compared to the costs of the surgery and hospitalization, as well as the peace of mind.

At the end of the day, our GSD, McKenna, is alive today because this facility was open and fully staffed on a major holiday, to handle whatever was thrown at them. I cannot say enough good things about this facility.

While McKenna has been diagnosed with a fatal cancer, they have given us additional months with her. She will receive chemotherapy and radiation treatments over the coming months at Veterinary Cancer Group in Woodland Hills. They also accept direct payments from Trupanion. Whatever the cost, McKenna will get whatever treatments are deemed necessary to increase her days with us, while providing her a good quality of life. We are expecting the costs of up to $20K for treatments, and we will only have to pay 10% of that, due to Trupanion.

God bless Oaks and their staff, they are rightful lifesavers!!!

Honestly very good and professional. I had called around many different vets and given the same response which was there we’re a full capacity. I’m calling on a Saturday and I understand that I have to be understanding as it is a weekend so I honestly knew I was in for it “checkbook wise”. I was blown out of the water with the level of care and service Oaks provided. I came in a wreck as my 5 week puppy wasn’t wanting to wake. They were so caring as soon as I came in they took my little boy and went to check him out. I was there maybe 5 min and right way I saw the vet and he let me know what was wrong with my pup. I am so thankful I was referred to u guys and I found my vet for my babies. The exam was affordable as well as the treatment.

The staff were all so kind & caring when I had to put my cat down. The room was quiet & comfortable. The tenderness they showed to me & to my cat was really beyond my expectations. I can’t thank them enough for making a heartbreaking event bearable.

We have been here multiple times and have had only the best experiences ever. Doctors Carin and Rachel are both smart problem solvers, willing to research and find out the best form of treatment.

Their staff is all really nice and gentle with our dogs.

As a bonus, their pricing is more reasonable than the 24/7 hospitals in the area.

I've had dogs my entire 35 years of life and have seen over a dozen vets during that time. I can confidently say that Dr. Karen and the whole group at Oaks are by far the absolute best. The team is ALWAYS accessible when you call for an update, and its so obvious they have such strong compassion for their furry patients. They are precise with what needs to happen, without ever "up-selling" you. I couldn't recommend them enough!
