Dr. B and his staff are phenomenal. My mochi baby has had some health issues for the past year with her tummy as she is aging and has received amazing care. The staff and Dr. B always answer my questions with care, compassion and thoroughness. Sick animals are not something anyone wants to deal with, but when I bring mochi in, or call, they are always very kind and caring. Up front pricing, and always a pleasure to interact with. 10/10 would recommend.

I have had such a great experience with Oakwood Vet so far! He has had his check ups and teeth cleaned here and the staff is very efficient and focused on the animal. The costs are also extremely reasonable here. I have already recommended this place to all of my friends!

I have been sitting on this since earlier this year when I brought my cat here as she had something going on with her ears and it was the closest clinic so I figured I would give it a try. I should have made this review sooner but was honestly a bit traumatized. The vet made me feel extremely uncomfortable with the way he roughly handled my cat. I thought maybe it was just a bad first impression and that maybe I was being sensitive given that it was my first time there but after reading all of the reviews and the defensive and borderline argumentative and aggressive responses to them, I can see that this is a pattern of behavior and not just a one off experience.

The vet was VERY rough when handling my cat and very aloof the entire time. He had absolutely zero bedside manner. He was roughly grabbing her face and prodding her like she was an inanimate object instead of a living, breathing animal with feelings. He swabbed her ears very forcefully as well.

They also have a very large dog that roams in and out of the exam room which made my already skittish cat even more unsettled.

The vet techs on the other hand were amazing and were doing everything they could to keep my baby calm while the vet was roughly grabbing her face.

I have a new cat and was considering bringing her here but will be going elsewhere.

Gave me and my wife a false diagnosis for her dog just from touching her belly. He asked how is she eating, my wife told him more than usual, that she always acts hungry. He looked at my wife with a SMILE on his face, and said well that won’t last long, one day her dog would just stop eating and die. And remember he said this without any tests. We asked if it was a tumor could we get it removed. Still smirking, he said no, nothing could be done. My wife has taken her to see him since she was a puppy, ever since she gotten her. We told him we still wanted blood work and an X-ray. He said neither would tell us anything different than what he had already told us. My wife sitting across from me hold her dog crying her eyes out, I asked him Don't you want to know for sure before you tell her that her dog is dying? That's her baby, her world." he said he already knew what was wrong with her from touching her belly, And he said i guess I can do blood work. Her blood work came back showing he was wrong. He didn't even call us when her blood work came in. My wife had to keep calling him. Then he said, "that's good news for you... I guess."
...I GUESS ... I Guess…. That’s what he told my wife.
He should never have spoken about anything until he knew for sure, after testing. We spent $500, and after the blood work, he wanted another $500 for an X-ray. Price started off at 200 by the end of the call it was 500 for the x ray. We will never go back there again, and if you look at your pets as your kids or your family, and you want some that cares your pets as much as you. THIS IS NOT the place. Money is all he cares about. And there is no amount that we wouldn’t spend to get her better, but at a place that laughs about your dog being sick and saying they are going to die. And saying a tumor can’t be removed is a lie, because we know people that has gotten tumors removed from their dog. There may be certain type that can’t, but he wasn’t even doing test to find out. We spent 500 dollars to tell us he was wrong. Didn’t even find out what was wrong with her. He wouldn't do an X-ray, that we wanted just blood work, but now we know why. If we would have gotten the X-ray we would have know what was wrong with her, and he would have made 500, but blood work said he was wrong so knowing we would spend any amount for our pet he now wants an x ray. So doing it in that order he makes 1000 not just 500. Well someone else will get that money not him. I don’t have understand how someone who claims to loves animals could be so cold.

My parents always brought my childhood dogs to this vet, and they were always the BEST clinic around.
Now that I have my own pets, I can say nothing has changed and they remain the best!
Dr. B and his team continuously go above and beyond. Thank you so much for everything! 😇

Very kind and gentle with all my pets. They make sure I'm comfortable with them handling my pets. They inform me of up coming blood work and all of their shots or if they need anything else done. Very satisfied with their care of my pets.

I specifically informed them i’d be travelling out of country with my cat and they ensured me that they could provide me with the paperwork (health certificate) i’d need to submit for approval. That was a lie. The vet didn’t even fill out the certificate right, or my cat’s rabies vaccine record. I told them months in advance about my travel plans and now my cat will spend Christmas without me due to the vet’s negligence… The techs here are so nice at least. Will not be recommending anyone to this location though.
