If I could leave zero stars, believe me, I would. We got a precious little pot bellied pig on Sat. We have never had a pig before and were eager to learn and take care of our new little boy! The man I bought him from advised us to feed him soft dog food, which we did. This afternoon late, he suddenly became noticeably ill. He was squealing and his belly was bloated. I called one bet who said they did not have much experience with pigs and told me to try this Vet. I called and was told he just had a stomach ache but give him an enema. Within minutes, I knew something was very wrong so I called back and asked if he could be seen. The Dr said if we came right then, he could be seen. We arrived and there was a frisky, OBVIOUSLY nothing very wrong with him, dog ahead of us. By this time, Wilbur was almost comatose. I knew he probably would not live, but, Lord help us, these people (The Vet and the employees) have NO sense of triage WHATSOEVER. They took their sweet time talking about this very lively, very much NOT SICK dog, and rudely told me to wait. I even saw and heard 2 of the staff members snickering about my son and I being so distraught over our sweet little Wilbur. When it was FINALLY our turn, the vet was so rude to me that I was completely taken aback and was trying to answer him and he repeated the same question again, only in a much more condescending than even before. Our sweet Wilbur died on the exam table. My son, who is very tenderhearted, began to cry and got to the point of a panic attack. If you've never had one or seen someone have one, be thankful. It's very scary and you feel like you can't get any air. I told my son we would hurry to the ER or urgent care and get him an inhaler and something to help him relax. I'm trying to get him quickly out the door and i say to the receptionist, (I guess that's what she's supposed to be) I will call you with payment tomorrow, I need to get my son some help. The rude Vet was standing there and said, " We normally don't do that." I looked at him in shock and said, sir I need to get my son some help, I assure you I will pay you. He continued to glare at me so I got my son to the car, grabbed my wallet and ran back in to pay, because, God forbid, this joke of a vet have to wait 12 maybe 16 hours for payment.!!! Disclaimer!!! I am an RN, and I knew that my son was safe for me to pay quickly, he was not in immediate danger, it just makes you feel like you can't breathe, but I would rather not have left him in the car to do so.

DO NOT EVER GO HERE. THEY ARE RUDE AND NO KNOWLEDGE OF HOW TO TRIAGE PATIENTS. HORRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER. THEY ARE RUDE, INSULTING, CONDESCENDING, AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK.

Very knowledgeable but has no compassion. He didn't have time to listen to what I had to say. When I started to talk about my dogs problem, he interrupted and asked, why are you here and what do you want. I wanted to find out if my little dog was dying and need to be euthanized. Then, why are you here again. I recommend not taking a pet you love here. "Rude and no manners". Too concerned with another dollar.

Nothing they did was wrong just got a bad vibe about the place. All I did was take my dog to get her nails clipped. The only one that seemed to be friendly and care about animals was the young lady that clip my dog's nails My dog actually trusted her enough to let her pet her and clip her nails. I was a new customer and this was my dog's first time going to the vet. And the veterinarian couldn't even come out and introduce himself Could just be me I just thought that was kind of rude. I could have understood if he would have been busy but it will slow and I was the only one there. I doubt I'll be going there again.

Good vet just charges ridiculous prices but I hate our other vet in town so I use him!

Absolutely the worst clinic. Daughter took her dogs, charged for fecal test that was never performed. My other daughter took cat to be neutered. Got him home he was covered in urine. My daughter called clinic and he cussed at her. Not a wise thing to do. Will never have our business.

Dr O'Fallon is the best. We are highly pleased with his care of our fur babies! This veterinary clinic puts the health of the pet above everything(even the almighty dollar)! Any person with a bad review must be confused or visiting a different O'Fallon's Vet Clinic.
